hell.. my wrx even gets regular dirt workouts as well.. in dirt fields, as rallycros events.. i love being sideways wiht all four wheels digging on boost, scrabbling for grip on the loose dirt surface, slinging mud everywhere.

Its a legend definately but 4x4 road cars were not a pipe dream until the Quattro. Jensen did it in the late 60/70s with the Interceptor

@SniperaceFIN, well as a huge audi fan i have to admit, it looked quite boxy and bland, in fact it looked like audi 90 B2 but with a bulky back-end. Genuinely it wasn't a drop-dead gorgeous car at all. However that doesn't effect the awesomeness of the Quattro.

lol mine is not a godfather ... its the hot daughter :) and yeah it smokes everything on the block ... but for pure fun i sometimes leave my audi in the garage and take the old blank beetle for a spin :) 156bhp and a 5gear box in a modified bug is more of a handfull

@QVlale Delta Integrale never raced the Group B ...End of story...the most hardcore Rally championship was Group B which ended with the Lancia accident disaster with the S4

the stratos and the 037 were great cars... but the audi usually walked all over them. not unitl the peugoet and the delta were cars truly competitive against the quattro

Audi quattro breaks all the rules because it makes its own rules and gave birth to all 4wd performance vehicles.

@QVlale Audi left Rally because of end of Group B! The Delta Integrale never won a Group B race and it was never a monster car of the Group B time, that was unsuccessfull the Lancia Delta S4, it never won the Rally worldchampionship and was the reason to end group B (deadly accident with the Delta S4) Audi left Rally for very successfull tarmac racing in the USA IMSA TransAm and after that DTM and touring car racing till quattro was permanently banned from motorsport by the FIA

@turkum075 My friend.. please.. be serious ... Lancia is winning the rally before the general Quattro invented! Fulvia, Stratos .. after that 2 year rule Quattro, and what then? Delta integrale 6 years! How could Audi be the number 1 ?????? Audi first launched a 4wd in rally ..that is very importaint... but.. When the story about the rally LANCIA IS GODHFATHER!
