Drehmomentschlüssel, Flanschfläche und Bremssattel reinigen? Vielleicht noch den Bremskolben etwas genauer unter der Manschette betrachten. Ansonsten gute Arbeit, aber halt mit deutlichen Abzügen.

thanks for this tutorial. i can get the piston in completely but the moving part of the caliper which you pulled to get the disc in doesnt move with my car. what should i check ?
@MotoWermar8 жыл бұрын
+jimmaey Buy a repair kit of caliper. Push the brake caliper to the inside of the car as in the 2: 08s only harder until it come out of the fixing. You can use a hammer. Clean all parts from rust, install new rubber and lubricate ATE Plastilube or buy a second clip...

+Moto Wermar what do you mean by clip? thanks for the advice !

+jimmaey I mean "brake caliper", sorry my mistake

+Moto Wermar i still cant get the caliper loose its stuck because the floating part is not straight on the pins. it looks a little out of alignment. what should i do next ? try heating ?
@MotoWermar8 жыл бұрын
+jimmaey It seems that the brake caliper may be defective or is there too much rust. Remove the caliper piston, remove the brake hose and try it heat up. Be careful because the brake fluid is flammable !! Maybe look used complete caliper, is it will be easier? Your floating parts may also be too rusty. If you want I can help you find them.

Lubing the wheel bolt holes? AND tightening using an air gun? Neither of those things should be done...otherwise great tutorial. Well maybe one other thing how about a little brake lube on the caliper piston face instead you left it dry?

“Lubing bolt holes should not be done” Shut up idiot

Allows a larger rotor diameter albeit with typical European small pads which generate tremendous heat per surface area, eliminates standard rotor resurfacing to increase parts sales, friction surfaces have less direct air cooling due to contained design which exacerbates rotor deformation (warpage) correspondingly increasing parts sales; looks like typical German engineering. That's my humble opinion, your mileage may vary., It's hard to beat a Nissin brake/caliper system for performance, reliability and serviceability.
