Seems like NaPom forcing Audical into a handicapped round not using their special sounds, Audical really took his bait as he planned not doing liproll on the 2nd round and challenged Audical not to use Inward Bass. NaPom expected other beatboxer will call him out just doing lip roll, but made it part of the strategy, legend.

Nah, dude. Not every Beatbox battle round has to be a refined routine like the showcase battles of GBB. Napom was going for more of a freestyle approach in his first round, and I really dug it. Not to mention his second round was incredible. Best tech I've heard from Napom In awhile.

Agreed, and it's genuinely disgusting. I think that any sort of drama or tension completely ruins beatboxing, and I hate this video more than any other beatboxing video i've watched because of it. This isn't some trashy freestyle rap video where two people are trying to make the other look bad, it's a community that needs to grow more and not get a bad name since beatboxing died out hard once already. We don't want that to happen again, so any beatboxer who doesn't have common decency shouldn't be allowed on any stage regardless if they're good or not.

BRO this battle!! Old-fashioned, at each other's throats, I fucking love it! I'm sure Neil and Anthony are chill, this was all just heat of the moment. So many beatboxers spam one sound and call it "style", and this was the battle that called that out and demanded variety. They both did great and had super badass/musical rounds, it's just that Nape's round 2 was so insanely technical... a truly whole new level of technicality and he barely missed a beat. Great battle between 2 bbx innovators. I'm very happy to see Nape back in battle mode.

It was an issue from the mixer to our recording device, causing a phasing effect on the audio. We didn't catch it during the event, a mistake that will not happen again. This was the best we could do to "fix" the audio, but phasing on a mono track is impossible to fix. It was this or not posting the battle. And I definitely want this one out there. Battle was too crazy to not post.

People hating on napoms first battle: Do consider this is how battles should be. In last two years especially all battles have become just showcase routines with some counters. Although this gives better beatbox it's not a battle. This is one of the reason why OG battlers are slowly phasing out. Because now a days we see people keep the same routine with same tempo for the whole battle. And some bbxrs will also point out if there's a tempo change like its a bad thing or a rule break lol. Although I like beatbox now battles were better back 2017 and before

In this particular battle, his inward bass is what caused him to lose. He called Napom out for spamming liprolls in his first round, so Napom responded by calling Audical out for spamming inward bass, and challenged him to a handicap round for the 2nd round (Napom didn't use traditional liprolls like he usually does, and even taunted Audical at the end of his 2nd round). Audical tried to make it as far as he could without using inward bass (fair play), but he had to fall back onto it for the drop, because he didn't have anything else he could do, hence proving Napom right. His inward bass is insane, and he probably has the most unique inward bass in the beatbox scene, but he wasn't prepared for when he was called out for spamming it so much, which lost him this battle.

Holy shit Napom is really having fun in there. It's been a long time since i've seen him this hyped and hungry for competition. Spectacular battle. No lip rolls were used in NaPoM's second round. Those were hutch squeaks (tutu sound) and tongue rolls. It wouldn't be an affective round if he did use lip rolls.
