How is this with windows 11?

Hey Sam, unrelated question - would you consider selling your custom Mainstage worship patches for Keyscape and Native Instruments, along with all your settings, compression, eq, reverb, etc? I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

I'm thinking about putting some of that stuff together to sell, I just use so many 3rd party plugins I gotta figure out the best way to do it. Just selling a Keyscape patch doesn't do anything for you because there's 8 plugins happening afterwards that are changing the sound.

Did you need a cloud lifter for your mic? I have a Rodes podmic and I literally have to crank the gain to 50.

Nope! Only mic I can think of that needs a cloud lifter is the Sm7b

smartgain seems like kind of a marketing gimmick to me. I suppose for micing up a drum kit as they've advertised, it can get you recording quicker. If you're using it as a starting point where you're gonna adjust each channel's gain later, I don't see how that saves any time at all beyond maybe a few turns of the knob per channel. I'm gonna be striking the drum with a stick and bringing up the gain until just under where it clips either way, whether that's from scratch or from whatever smartgain gives me. Although there is stuff like the cheap 2 channel behringer interface or whatever, these ~500 dollar interfaces are still marketed towards beginners, people who might be intimidated by gain staging. I'm not regularly micing up new drum kits though so what do I know, I'm probably just being a hater lol

I agree to a certain extent, smart gain for a single mic source is kind of pointless. But it's super helpful when you're solo producing something, and the drum set maybe is 10 feet away from your interface. To hit smart gain, walk over sit at the drums, and let it do for you, is actually super helpful. I'm always out of marketing gimmicks, but this feature has actually been helpful for me specifically with drums.
