I have an AirPlay target selected on an iPad Pro running iOS 14.5.1, and MTHP Pro but sound is still coming out the iPad. Only MTH Pro is affected, it works fine with other apps such as KZbin, etc. Anything I'm doing wrong?

Glad to see I'm not the only one having this problem! Hope they can fix it soon, as AirPlay is essential to my practice setup and I deliberately waited for the AirPlay feature before purchasing.

@@mDecksMusic Any progress on this AirPlay issue? All my other apps work fine with audio AirPlay. MTHPro is the only one that doesn't. Your blurb in the App Store says it works, so please fix it. I'm not a programmer, but I'm thinking it can't be that hard to implement properly given that every other audio app does it -- including your competitor, iReal Pro.

Since this video deals with some basic Logic integration, I have the same workflow requirements for every song in Logic, and would like to know how much of this can be done in MTH pro, and which other tools might fill in the gaps. Workflow is: 1) I have an existing bassline, melody, possible countermelodies in Logic. All very syncopated. 2) I need to determine the key which is often complicated by borrowing from minor, various enharmonic tones, etc. 3) I then need to map out the chords and audition variations, but need to hear those variations in the context of my specific comping rhythm and existing bassline which are both highly syncopated with the chord changes rarely lining up in measures. 4) Once that is done for the first section, I either repeat that for another section, or work out a modulation to a new section, etc, then string the sections together in an arrangement. MTP is the best tool I've found for the last half of this process, but I'm not seeing any way to audition the alternate voicings within the context of the bassline and comping rhythm I already have in Logic's piano roll (comping might, for instance, be a stand-in for what I will later render via Scarbee funk Guitarrist, so just syncopated 3 string voices a couple octaves above the existing bassline), or how to do the initial analysis from the existing parts to determine the key. How much of this can be done in MTH pro, and for those tasks to which it is not suited, are there suggested tools that can help bridge the gap in this specific workflow?

You can export MIDI files (but not import, only MUSIC XML files can be imported)

I had the midi out working to Ableton Live with an IRig IO and it was wonderful. I had to get a new PC and now I go to set up again I can't work out how to demux.. I just get a jumble of stuff, chaotic. There is no demux option in Ableton explicitly. If anyone else has got this working to Live please let me know.

It would be very cool if you could implement midi in chord recognition to write the progressions and have it do what it does instead of having to write them

I’m curious about the style pattern aspect. How many inbuilt styles are there to select from, are these editable/combinable, and is it possible to download further style packs please?

There's a bunch of styles. Also each style has different inner-styles if you will, depending on the tempo setting. At the moment there are no style packs to add-on but we are working on several. Please, if you would like to see any specific patterns let us know, it help us a lot when we get feedback from users. Thanks

If you don’t mind my saying so - as you welcome feedback, I think you’re missing a trick in the presentation of this app and perhaps an add-on/upgrade that could boost its sales and popularity. There’s a wealth of studio quality instruments available on iOS but what the platform lacks is a good midi pattern/chord generator to fully utilise them - hence my own interest in the midi styles bank, and I would suspect also the interest of many other iOS music makers. I’ll buy the app for its compositional analysis and understand why you would want to emphasise those abilities in your videos, but the appearance of a good pattern based midi chord arrangement tool is actually a big deal and will interest many for that facility alone. If an upgrade is under consideration, please make the choice of style patterns wider and more comprehensive and allow them to be edited into user patterns ( ie combination of parts from different patterns). Hi. Some issues on the 6s. When creating a new song, the text keyboard is impossible to make retract. For example, this blocks the Tags field and forces you to exit edit mode. Also, when entering text into the Notes field, the text is invisible. There needs to be a way to make the qwerty keyboard retract. This happens in both portrait and landscape orientations. Swiping down won’t do it. Thanks.

Hello I have an ipad pro (2020) and the latest version of MTH PRO, I only have 9 icons on the right, while you have 10. I have an IK irig on the way. The gear icon for setting up midi out is missing. Do I have to have an audio/midi interface plugged in to see the icon for setting up midi out? Also, for using MTH PRO as a blue-tooth controller, is MTH PRO automatically set for that once I enable Blue-tooth on the ipad?

I can't use it anymore on my ipad. Maybe I just want to use the map with secondary dominants for some simple consulting of possible chord progressions. I understand your will to put a lot of features but all seems very hermetic now.

No midi clock. You can export the entire midi file which is much faster.

Mostly, yes. There are a couple of notes outside the GM standard only, but most rhythms don’t use them
