does your geo node tree also give it the colour and everything? I read the point clouds dont have color when you import them

It comes with a shader node that should automatically apply when you append the node group. However, to actually get the color attribute of your point cloud scan, you have to make sure you have downloaded the "import-ply-as-verts" importer: github.com/TombstoneTumbleweedArt/import-ply-as-verts When you've installed that you should see a new import option in blender called "stanford ply as verts" Use that to import the point cloud and make sure you tick the box that says "Verts/colors only" From that point you can append my node group, apply it to the point cloud and it should work. Hope this helps!
