If you prioritize noise cancellation and battery life, the ATH-TWX9 might be the better choice. On the other hand, if you value a larger driver unit and wireless charging, the Sennheiser TW4 could be more suitable. I hope this helps! 😊

Another great review Cheryl. Where do these sit compared to the AZ60, Momentum 3 and Gemini?

I'd say the Gemini still has the most natural sound + detail, although the MTW 3 is close behind. These have more emphasis on the bass I'd say, while the AZ60 is a bit warmer and richer and comes with LDAC. Definitely comes down to your own preference!

@@errorist3716 The ATH-TWX9 has great sound quality and features like noise cancellation, but it doesn’t have the same neutral, detailed sound as the ATH-MSR7. If you want a similar sound to the ATH-MSR7, you might want to look at other over-ear headphones from Audio-Technica.

I own the EX, demoed the TWX9s. Think of the TWX9s as a budget EX - the EX wins in every way (and they should, at its price) but these are 90-95% of the way there on the sound quality front. (EDIT for clarity: their sound signatures are very similar, the TWX9 is genuinely just a discount, slightly more boring EX on the sound front, hence why alot of head-fi holds on to their EX while selling their TWX9s) I'd suggest you demo both (& the Fokus Mystique) before buying a pair

Not that I noticed! Used it on planes/trains and in crowded areas, didn't notice any drops
