Btw y'all can't say those lines come out of nowhere either... y'all dropped them... it's a super easy fix... take ur thump press at the top between the ung a few times and it goes away... it's a lose cable... the display cable is lose... you can fix it your self... take a heat gun or hair dryer to the back pull the back glass and press your cable back into the slot...... or you could try to heat the front top up with a dryer or heat gun and then press the display back and hold it till it cools down and it can fix it... galaxy s6 and newer get hot because they have alot of power big block processors octa core processors alot of ram fast G.P.U ect and power generates heat... the display is held into place with glue... when glue gets hot it losens... and when the phone takes a hit a fall or pressure is pushed on the phone when it's hot it will knock things lose... and cause that line cause the display to flicker n go out.... y'all need to quit tripping it's only a lose display cable lol... it can be fixed in about 15 mins...

You people must understand, these little tricks will not fix everyone's phones. Some are big, some are small. They mostly start small, then get big. Yeah sure that people drop, crack, even expose thir phones to high amount of heat. But some of these phone are getting this issue in the box before the users are even useing them. I know its an old comment, but its NOT a loose cable. Its actually the ribbon cable tearing up, which connects the whole pixel raster with a DAC I/O chip, which is that large long rectangle sitting at the top of the flex cable, inside the screen. Since all these traces on the ribbon cable, sits on top of a power plane (Vcc of the amoled panel) a sigle tear will let a trace for a pixel row, touch this Vcc plane, which then will deliver all power to the pixel row, which makes it show very bright purple. The further it tears up, the more traces touch this Vcc plane, thus more bright lines. Only solution for this is to replace the unit. Your “octa core processor GPU block, getting hot” argument is false. How does my samsung S9 not get hot at all? Even under load. Its the way the architecture of the SoC is designed. If its shit, it will get hot without load and waste battery. But an octa core processor with a good governor will NEVER use all its cores on idle. Only if you play games. But this guy in the video didn’t play games, and it gets hot on idle, thats the PMIC getting hot due to a screen that consumes a lot of power, not the SoC (which is CPU and GPU in one) as this has nothing to do with power consuption. Also, the adhesive used in the samsung phones, are not affected by heat at all, samsung uses copper thermoshield adhesive with graphite inlay, for their display units, its disigned to disipate heat. If you want to make this adhesive “loose” you should undercool it, this will make the adhesive brittle. You should never try to separate a samsung screen by heat, thats just stupid. Samsung never used adhesive that is getting softened up by 75 celsius, and if your phone gets hotter than that, you have a serious problem. So bottom line, you need a new screen. Samsung screwed up the flex cable design

This is a problem in all the latest SAMSUNG phones, it is not a miss handle of the customer, but is a problem of the manufacturer and normally if there are multiple failures in a product, the factory has to give the face and replace all the craps they sold, and if they does not, they have to feel it in an other way. I get this. But its like a samsung glitches iceburg except my problem goes deeper. If my s6 edge plus over heats it will make orange or green static lines. That do horizontal. Theres more. It will then freeze, and make this LOUD screech when my volume is never at max. It scares me and it happened twice. The first time it lasted like 15 mins the second time it lasted like 2 minutes the second time it had orange staticy lines at the top and bottom of the screen and the first time 3 green staticy lines at like middle part. But ye. I sorta get this problem. Also it happened twice before both incidents no screeching and it had a black screen and one thing i was able to do. Remove all data or something. But then it turned on with a white light at the top of the screen it is very weird and it already has dead pixels on it. So ye.
