Sounds much more like a sales pitch than a review.

It is a sales pitch. I sat in a stressless chair in a furniture store 20 years ago and I will say they are amazing. They were $1700 back then I'm sure a lot more now.

They have other models than the Mayfair. If you're larger you should check them out. Looks like the admiral and reno are good picks due to height adjustability.
@gymclasshero884 жыл бұрын
@@Tential1 yeah I sat in the bigger ones with the high firm backs but wasn’t as comfortable. May sit in the Mayfair again to triple check it’s still the best one, but based on two past visits to the store it was the one I felt most comfortable sitting on. I also liked how my next had a bit more free range in motion on the May fair then having it either against the back of the seat or position in front so not touching constantly.
@Tential14 жыл бұрын
@@gymclasshero88 admiral is more firm. Reno is very plush but more expensive. It feels like the upgrade meant for tall people. Just a thought since you probably could change your order. I'm very short so the Mayfair is what I hope I sat in, but I bet it was a reno. The magic is nice if you have money like that. Might not be for you given the range of neck motion. I think Mayfair is where that makes sense. I'll consider that myself on my next visit. Then again, once you add options it all becomes expensive. I like the rocker, USB table, and swing table. Basically have to reevaluate as add-ons are very expensive.

The audio on this is AWFUL! Who decided to add musical noise? WHY?! I would really like to understand how anyone whose business involves sound would choose to add noise to their presentation. Please advise

What is your experience sitting on leather for long periods? Does it get uncomfortably hot on Ekornes Mayfair? We are in the market.

Denise Ottie Real leather is good. Courtroom judges sit for hours in leather chairs. Look at C-Span. The US house and senate sit in real Leather chairs. Fake leather is not the same.

Space Age foam? You mean, like foam from the 60s? Really super modern foam, that.

Hi,it's true that Stressless Mayfair recliner is great from an ergonomic point of view. But is it enough confortable for sturdy people? Which Stressless recliner do you think is the most comfortable for a sturdy person measuring 1.74 cm. I highly appreciate your feedback because I want to buy two Stressless recliners and a sofa and in the city I live (San Sebastián-Spain),there are only the basic models. Bye!

They have three sizes in all their recliners. You should just go try them out at your local dealer. Thanks for watching

Yes - I agree with what you say: At that Price point... But I would argue that there are 'even-more comfortable' loungers available for another Ten Grand... but then you'd have to ask yourself: Is my ass really worth that sort of money? Prob'ly not

My seven year old $4000 stressless chair need all foam replaced, this is the second time for the headrest foam. $400 every few years doesn’t seem like quality. Don’t believe the sales pitch. Look for another product!

Sorry you had issues, that is very unusual. If you purchased the chair from Audio Advice, we would be happy to reach out to Ekornes on your behalf. Most people get decades of use from their chairs. Thanks for watching

They do rock. It's a $500 upgrade but it's available. It's terribly expensive. Did you find something better for less? I haven't but I'm open. The Eames is double the price. For ~$3000 for something that will last 10+ years, it's not terrible. It's just expensive.
