I have a Epson 5030 and did a full alignment on all zones and the before and after was a definite improvement on clarity and sharpness. Its amazing how good the picture can look without any color fringing.

Great video! I found this feature in my Epson years ago so gave it a go and got everything aligned and wow! It really helped out the picture, and since I haven't done it in a while, I'm going to go do it again right now!

Great video! Definitely trying this on my Epson 6040 later today. I already think it looks great, and have no doubt it'll look even better with some more adjustments!

This helped and I noticed the whites seem whiter and no color separation around white letters. So thanks!

That's an awesome explanation, thanks. Do you know if Optoma has it? I'm looking through the Optoma GT1090HDR manual, which is a relatively expensive unit, and I can't really identify anything that looks remotely like what you're describing.

Thanks! Sorry, we do not carry Optoma, so we are unsure.

Great video tutorial! not sure my old projector (Sanyo PLV-Z3000) allows this adjustment but I will check as soon as I get home.

Thank you. If it uses 3 different panels, it should have it.

Thank you, yes, you'll find it most projectors on the market except for single chip DLP models. Sony, JVC, Epson, etc, all have it. Thanks for watching

Can you show how access the greyscale bars and color bars?
@AudioAdvice2 жыл бұрын
This was about how to align the panels in your projector. Greyscale bars and color bars are not usually built into a projector but are on a test disc or video. Thanks for watching

Hello, I have a Sony VPL-VW500ES Projector. I have tried this process and there is no space to play with numbers to get rid of Blue and Yellow lines. What could be the problem, I don't know. From the left side of the screen goes to the right and the lines bleed more. Any advice appreciated. Thank you

My advice to you is skip the panel alignement in the normal menu and use the one in the service menu. Much more precise and there you can shift only whole pixels. If you want to use the normal menu just use steps of 10 for H and V. 10 is one pixel. Avoid zone this way you will have extra processing and in the end you will lose picture quality.

Interesting, we found 10 clicks on the Sony to be a lot of movement. Thanks for sharing
@onlyvik2 жыл бұрын
@@AudioAdvice yes that could be but you will not see that during film. You will gain overall picture quality.

That's interesting, how do you access the service menu? (Got an epson tw9400/6050UB).
