I recently purchased a Fused Walnut, R610 with Sabre speakers and matching CD player. Its a great looking unit, sound is very good, particularly at lower volume settings. I have connected a very old turntable that sounds okay for the odd time it will get used. I did look at the Naim Mu-so 2, a great looking unit, however the Ruark is more versatile. One unexpected thing was that my very old(30+)Technics system sounds surprisingly good!

Do you have any experience of the Triangle BR03 speakers and do you think they would pair well with the 610, reviews of them would suggest they pair well with warmer amplifiers.

I have listened to the Boreas, but not for a long time! I’d definitely agree with the warm sentiment though

Apart from the obvious exclusion of an amplifier, how would you say this compares to something like the Wiim Ultra? Is there a companion app? What about PEQ/room correction? Thanks

I do really like the WiiM, and the app is great, but the Rusrl gives access to more & in one box, you could argue that when you add an amp to the Ultra that’s not the case, it depends what you’re going for
