@@adairhartauthor I marble on how your mind comes up with the story lines. Question, Do you have a think group that have a wild mind as you do, that help you out?

@@joeherr4714 In summary, I do everything myself! Before I write any book, I use notepad to sketch out a high level outline. There is a structure to it, but I'm free to tweak it as needed. I usually define themes I want to hit, plot and character arcs, factions and the like. Once the high-level outline is done, I do a low-level outline in Excel that breaks things into chapters/scenes, I also tweak that as I go since sometimes something jumps out at me that I need added or it needs tweaked or deleted. It takes a bit for both processes, and I usually start it about two months before writing anything.
