I laughed when you uttered the first words from Humongous: " I am greatly disappointed." 🤣 You nailed it 👍

I loved your reading. You were totally involved and unpretentious. I also appreciated your description of your reading experience at the end of the track. 🤘👍

+Adam Fibble Thanks for listening! We borrowed this copy of Mad Max 2 from a university library in Australia which was kind enough to ship it overseas to my local public library. Hooray for libraries!

After listening to your Mad Max reading, I recognize a lot of regurgitation in the first half hour, setting up the world building for the story. Thanks so much for posting these treasures! 👍

much appreciated that reading....love your descriptive ending....Ray from the Isle of Man.

We have actually recorded a short story set on the Isle of Man: "Minuke" by the late, great Manx-born writer Nigel Kneale. It's included as a "hidden track" at the end of our recording of Poltergeist: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5STYniHe85sfrMh36m45s I am quite positive that the vague attempt at a Manx accent in this reading is dreadfully off the mark. Please accept our humblest apologies and enjoy the story.

Awesome, looking forward to it. Another couple of short stories that I’d love for you guys to do would be “The second variety” (later adapted to the movie Screamers) and Ellison’s “I have no mouth and I must scream”. Both would really suit your style IMO. Keep up the good work.

Backstreet Zero I love HE’s stories, and nobody reads them aloud better than HE himself. You should seek out his audiobooks. Worth every penny, and a huge influence on my own reading style. I also love me some PKD. Most of his stories are also available in audio, some of them for free on public domain audiobook apps like LibriVox. At ABFTD, we focus our precious time and energy on out-of-print movie novelizations. Thanks for listening!

I’ll be sure to check them out, I remember Ellison did the intro to the Old pc game of I have no mouth, which was creepy as you like. Only just found your channel, enjoyed blade runner today, will be listening to Zardoz next! Great content thanks for uploading it all.
