Should i hide one of these amps or BOTH of them somewhere and have a little "easter egg" hunt? I was thinking of planting 2 "coupons" somewhere in the united states (i have connections EVERYWHERE) and on Sunday the first people to find them will GET THE amps! Whatcha think? How can an amplifier put out so much lower given it's fuse amperage? Would we need to boost the amps fuse to run full time bridged 4ohm?
@bigdaddy38874 жыл бұрын
There's an optional plate, AudioControl ACM-5.600, that can be used to combine both of these amps to make it look like its a single 5 channel amplifier. Remove the top plates from both amps and use the ACM-5.600 to combine both. Pretty cool video. Thanks. Forgot to mention, for some reason that plate isn't listed on the AudioControl website but it exists and it is an actual AudioControl product.

Back in September I picked up a Kicker 1600W (800W RMS) not thinking much of it since it was about the size of my hand and 2" thick. After it was all hooked up my freakin jaw dropped. I couldn't believe how much sound came out of such a small little thing. Back in our day, Amps would have to take up half the width of a car to be that powerful. I had my friend sit in my car and said it was deeper and louder than his (3) 12" subs back in the mid/late 90's. I popped the trunk to show him and he accused me of sorcery since I only had (1) 12" sub in a sealed box and this tiny little D-Class amp lol. Man! how times have changed.

Those mids sounded so damn nice and clear with that Audio Control Amp and then the 2 massive 18's in the skeletor box being moved by a small like 4inch wide amp on its own just blew me away how much that lil guy could do on its own with the head unit output, this honestly would work perfectly for a small car or truck or any vehicle honestly where space is limited. 10/10 rating even though I don't own these XD

Reminds me of my first ever system I put in around 92, 93 I had a 90w Autotek amp, some kind of 10s in a truck box I had gotten for a birthday and the deck I can't recall..im 47 and got bud residue in my memory banks..🤷 anyway that shit pushed them tens nice! Since then I learned a solid 90w could push true power while some 700w amps run less than half spec power. I miss the satisfaction of finishing up a proper install and bumpin my fav songs down the phx streets. Love your vids and Installs man keep pushin tough 🔊🔊🔊

Will vouch for the 4 channel output capability and the dyno results there speak for themselves. Currently running it in 4 channel mode at the moment but a few years ago bridged it to actively power a pair of midbasses in the doors HPF 24 DB at times anywhere from 65-80 HZ and it was seriously more power than those midbasses actually wanted and those drivers were very capable xmax wise as well as power handling.

Ok the monoblock was decent for its size but the architecture of that four channel blew my mind. That dynamic power made me think of Rockford. I wouldn't go with the monoblock but that 4 channel is beastly putting out a legit 150 W per channel. It could do 2x 6.5 +1 tweeter on each of the front channels and 2x 2ohm 6x9 on the rears for a seriously loud system

Would it be a bad idea to install one of these behind my dash (if it will fit) so it will be easier to connect to the door speakers, using the existing wires? I do not have a huge system, just one 10 with a 500 watt amp. It sounds great for what i need but I really want to change out my front speakers to a component set and rear doors with nice coaxials. Any suggestions? It's an older 4runner with a newer pioneer nex double din.
