Question : (new to DAC's) Would this thing have any effect on just watching KZbin videos, or is it only for uploaded digital music files? Much thanks!
@randall965 жыл бұрын
@@JoeBlow-cw4pu if you still need help.. DAC is for Converting Digital signal to Analog which is what speaker and headphones requires to move the drivers. A good DAC help smooth the square digital signal into a smooth sine curve better than a cheap one and with less errors. Basic overview

Joe Blow Any digital audio will benefit from an upgraded DAC

I always prefer to an Amplifier rather than DAC.. But an amplifier require it's own power supply rather than usb, but you can set the treble, bass if your speaker does not have a controller for that. Great review as always

Sweet video man, would be good to see you review some other entry level / high end audiophile headphones. You could do like a "how to upgrade your audio game" type of video :) Good to see a review of a product I want to buy as well ;)

Hey Tom, great idea! Although the D2000's are probably the highest end heapdphones ill ever have.. i love them. ha ha

Would have been interested in a review of the USB performance and gaming positional sound. I have never found onboard audio good, ever. It's mostly weak, that this product can fix but positional sound is garbage. I flat out distrust Realtek driven onboard audio.

Nice video. An actual follow up comparing it with other "DACs that could be double the price" would be something i would like to see.....as i'm sure you should be able to hear some noticeable differences with the Denon AH-D2000's. Cheers.

Can this be powered by the spdif/Optical input also? Or is it only able to be powered by the USB input? Thanks
@premiere36105 жыл бұрын
How it is powered? usb? how if we are going to use the spdif?
@uuuaaa965 жыл бұрын
it is powered through usb cable, but if you plug both (usb and spdif) to your pc, than spdif has a priority as it provides better quality

is it a worthy upgrade from a sound card?

What's with the dislike? Video was awesome!
@UpgradeAddiction7 жыл бұрын
Fahad_Nomna7 I have a serial disliker or 2....as soon as a video goes up its immediately disliked. Lol Here's the funny thing, they must be subbed, just to dislike, because it's instant ha ha!

LOL I bet he's a 1 guy with multiple account doing this. Good job on these videos and hopefully i'll see you on 100k subs very soon!

I'm sure the video was informative, but the background music kills it for me. That goes for any video with persistent background music. I find it very distracting.

I wanna ask you about the thermaltake core p3 open case. how's easy to build on it and how the dust on your rig? planning to switch to open case design so please help!
@UpgradeAddiction7 жыл бұрын
Fahad_Nomna7 the p3 is very nice! I love it. It does have some dust issues but nothing too bad. It's worth it Imo.

I've ordered this. I got Gen1 A40's (I think) and the mixamp is stuffed. I ordered it to hopefully remove hissing and any other issues. Quick question though, does the D1 still allow the microphone to work that are attached to headphones? Great vid

you wouldn't need D1 DAC if you have Audioengine A5+ Wireless right ? u can just Bluetooth to computer ey ?
@ufopulse Жыл бұрын
wouldnt you be running from one dac to another dac using the optical instead of the usb on the pc? So you got the realtek screwin yo shit.. and hoping the d1 corrects that shit

Don't mean to be rude but it isn't a product designed for gaming. I'm not sure why you're testing a DAC with gaming at all actually with games designed to be used with digital formats. Maybe next time try FLAC lossless audio files? Nice vid anyway!

Man, your production quality is slick. What do you use for editing etc?
