"The Spark" was born in the rehearsal room in January 2019 with a 7/8 riff which has been the backbone of the song ever since. The lyrics talk about escaping from one's demons and the awareness that comes from shaking off a psychic numbness, which prevents the pursuit of one's goals and self acceptance.
