hello I am very tempted by the Denton 85 to match my Musical Fidelity amplifier and I wanted to know an opinion on how they sound, if they are worth the price and if they are more or less in the wake of the Lintons !? thanks

6000a it s agreat amp ,that can shine" any speaker..why not you try ELAC Debut Reference DBR62 ?its nice speaker.too...also try and linton..for the best..;)

On my tv I can hear it very well ! Do you really want to make us hear the sound quality of the amp and speakers through youtube on tv or computer ?

Not a good video, sound is awful, but it is just a video on youtube. No doubt the audiolab is the best by some measure in its respective class and probably way beyond its respecive class. Dont read too much into this video. It sounds crummy. The Denton speakers are more of a nostalgia purchase, hear the 6000a with the wharfedale evo 4.3 or 4.4 , and you will see just how good it can be.

The speakers are round the wrong way, the golden W should be on the outside edge, this is due to the tweeter being offset.

My counter opinion- these are superb, and widely compare favourably against many speakers around twice the price.

I have the smaller Denton 80's and the bass and midrange are amazing for the size. You should hear electronica music through them and brass instruments are gorgeous... Miles Davis, John Coltrane etc.
