I’m a BIG fan (6’1” 200 lbs) of both Riffer and their filter sequencer app (can’t remember name). It was a Gavinski tutorial that got me into Riffer when I was first trying to figure iOS music out-thanks for that Gavin-and it’s been Riffer Madness ever since! Not really, but I liked the play on words. But their apps are really quite good; wouldn’t mind winning this new Chord whatever it’s called for iOS. Good luck to everyone!

Finally a chord sequencer that lives up to its name. Quite similar to Scaler, though not (yet) as comprehensive, it's great to see that something very similar is now available for iOS. It's the concept I was really hoping for from ChordBud. I hope that Audiomodern will maintain this app constantly, providing it with functional updates and in this way establish it as an unbeatable product overall. I hope you take a cue from Victor Porof's Atom 2 to take Chordjam to a unique and unrivaled level. Since I already have the exquisite Riffer and Playbeat, Chordjam is definitely on my wish list. Thank you for this once again very detailed walkthrough with all the benevolent but also partly relentlessly critical statements. That's what I like and expect from you, and it's something you can rely on.

A nice run through! This app has some interesting nooks and crannies to explore! I have the other AudioModern apps and I like the way they thread common elements through their apps. They also make it easy to get going with a “roll of the dice”! Sure, I’d love to add the iOS version of ChordJam to my toolbox! I agree about the contrast; I find several apps could benefit from a lesson in color theory. Thanks Gavinski!

Yeah, please write to them and tell them the contrast sucks, because on this point they remain unconvinced and may not fix it

Two great things have happened to me these last few days. I got Chordjam and discovered your fantastic channel (I don't know how I missed it). Reading the manual plus your detailed video made an instant CJ expert out of me :-) . Chordjam is a fascinating experience of creativity with and unique approach. The 'under control' randomized option is an adventure that expands the horizons of music production for beginners and advanced pro's alike. But if you want to walk your own path, you turn it off and that's it. About the details to improve or include in next version, my main wish is at the assigning the PADs to MIDI notes instead just CC msgs and the user setting order exchange of the PAD chords. Also would be great to be able to change the PADs from arpeggio to chord at a later time. Max is a very attentive and kind person, I am sure he will sort out most of the details you mentioned.

I’m sure he will, he’s a great guy. Glad u dig the channel!

robots + humans coexisting in harmony.. 🤣 (cue: What a Wonderful World 🎵) ChordJam looks to be a winner for 🐈 cat-on-a-piano 🎹 type players.. 🙋♂️ The randomization features are excellent.. the interface is gorgeous + pretty straightforward.. I see at least 4 Infinty buttons.. I’ll be using them extensively.. Trigger buttons are really interesting.. definitely for the arp rate + chord type sections.. I really liked your idea of using ChordJam + KB-1 to play 2 Pure Pianos.. left hand comping chords while the right tickles the ivories.. 👍 ❤️ Riffer + Playbeat! This will be a great addition to the family.. Thanks a ton Gav for this walk through.. 🙏 I already know how to use it.. Also thank you for being such a great beta tester for many of these apps.. your input is on the money as far as fixing or adding features.. by the time we get our hands on the app, things are flowing as they should be.. well done sir.. 👏 I would love to win a copy of ChordJam for iOS..

I love Riffer, but I think I will love Chordjam even more!! ❤️
@EnriquePage913 жыл бұрын
for sure, Riffer in my eyes should have always been what Chordjam is. Not that it isn't great by itself! But it's just the polyphony.... Plus obviously this is far more complex too! It seems to me they have been prioritizing putting out the apps they could realistically put out the fastest, perhaps Chordjam took this long to get to us because it pretty much required of the funds their other apps generated for them, since obviously they have been expanding the amount of functionality they include in their generators substantially over their releases. It seems to me that this is by FAR AudioModern's best app. I don't think I'll be using any of their other apps much anymore, to be honest, and I still don't regret buying them regardless. this is an incredible AU on the making, and given how receptive to feedback they are we can only expect it to get better. when you think about it, was Chordjam ever the final goal? I'm excited to see what's coming next from AudioModern.. it will surely be massive. This already is imo. It really does encompass so many different AUs I use regularly to precisely do the stuff that it seems I might just be able to do with this little app from now on. I think from now on, all my sequencing will be done with Step Poly Arp and Chordjam. Maaaybe some Atom here and there although I prefer it as a midi "timeline" so to speak, rather than a sequencer, but well that's another discussion so I'll just stop lol.
