When it comes to audio gears, always try it before you buy. I say this even I am the one who designed and manufactured the filters.

I have one of Gilbert Yeung's power filters that is similar to the EF130, but a bit different in how it is wired by Gilbert. These filters provided me with a night and day difference, at least in my system. The background and noise floor is almost non existent with the right LP.
