Steve, John is right, the best thing you can do to upgrade your rig is to get a better “phono pre-amp” . I am sure Hi Fi Centre can guide you there, maybe something around $1000 +

21:25 I hate to take John to task but stating "no friction" in the bearing assembly is very misleading. Two materials rotating against each other create friction, simply not possible for no friction to be there. You can use two low frictional materials to "lower" friction, however you cannot eliminate it in a standard downward facing, or inverted designed bearing assembly.

Yes and no. We have a basic table package that can be purchased, but we also have upgraded Tone arms that you can get with it. Like buying a car. We have a basic model and then we have different ones with all the options.
