We had such a great time meeting you! Thank you so much for the opportunity to do this Zoom call! We were so caught up in the excitement we made a couple of hiccups: The efficiency is 88db (not 88ohms). It’s the granite + floating base that goes up to $14,000 USD, not the quartz. We look forward to seeing you at Axpona!

Looking forward to your review. They get thumbs up from me on many metrics, but sound quality evaluation will require much more extensive experience with them in a familiar system like you will do. Best of luck with them.

Thanks for the discussion with the Maco owner/designer. I look forward to your review… of particular interest in light of Clayton Shaw’s new Calladan open baffle speakers.

Might I respectfully suggest trying Bamboo wood? My experience is that it seems the best wood to use.

I would like to see if these speakers out perform my Altec’s that also have over a 2” baffle with same bevel.

Do these Maco speakers act more like a horn speaker compared to you GR speakers?

What? Those are Lii Audio drivers. These two literally are cabinet makers. What a joke. I have Lii Audio open baffle speakers from them. Nice baffle, but to say anything else is cheating Lii Audio.

Yeah i guess the money is in the crossover because you can buy those lii audio drivers for around 1500.. they are charging 6500 for the entry level 😂

But aren't those Lii Audio drivers? They are a budget driver.

They look like F15 with a W15 below, looks like an expensive crossover tho.

It's a board with a driver attached?

You must not have watched the video...or think all speakers are just boxes with drivers inserted.

He told a truth that rarely is told. If you only use one 15'' woofer sensitivity will be low. Dont know where other companies get +90db from (they are lying)

Gotta love those vintage cabinet stereos. Take a skill saw and cut the end speakers off. Now put a wooden stand underneath. You now have a pair of $14,000.00 McIntosh current retro speakers. The more research into hi-end, the more disgusted I am with the mindblowing prices. Not familiar with your product, but open baffle speakers might be more perferred.
