It can replace those. Or you can still use them and use the Landr plugin. It depends on what you think the song needs. You shouldn’t need the limiter though.

@@GeordieLord I think by the time people get to mastering they will already know how to open plugins in their DAW of choice. I do have videos showing how to open plugins in various programs though.

What bothers me is that LANDR always adds a VAT to the price - but doesn't mark it up. As a self-employed person you have no option to enter your VAT ID when purchasing. After all, I buy from another EU country and would be exempt.

@PaulFisherMedia ozone can do all this and more. This is a purely AI mastering tool with just a touch of user input. Ozone does have the AI mastering assistant which is alright and you can do a ton of editing to the settings after it does its AI thing but if you just avoid the AI in Ozone and strictly use the mastering tools that it comes with, then you have a super powerful mastering system once you learn how each module works which doesn’t take too much time. But for some quick and easy mastering without the learning curve this Landr Mastering plugin is great. I prefer the AI in this over Ozone’s AI but overall I’d take Ozone without the AI. If you already have Ozone Standard or higher then you likely won’t need this so don’t even worry about it unless you really like the sound of this over Ozone.

I wonder if it’s still okay to use this even after already making minor eq adjustments, is it better to use this with no prior eqing?

It all depends. If it’s just minor it should be alright. Same with mixbus compression. Just a little and it’s ok. You could always try it both ways: with your slight eq and one without. Basically your mix is up to you. If you think those final eq moves add to the overall mix then go for it. Mastering is just there to enhance your mix. So do what you feel is right for the overall mix.

I’m not 100% sure. If it’s like the other Landr plugins then you’ll be able to install it on up to 2 computers. You can contact them and ask how many computers it can be installed on. A lot of people install on a desktop and a laptop so it’s pretty common to allow 2 computers.
