Sometimes, when I miss Prince too much, I look for Bernhoft. In a certain way he has the same true deepness of emotions. And without any doubt he is a brilliant musician....with an Impressive soulful voice.

A talented artist such as Bernhoft deserves more fame then someone like, oh idk, lets say Nicki Minaj
@michaelcahill145010 жыл бұрын
Who's Nicki Minaj?
@toddcharry10 жыл бұрын
Michael Cahill , lol, what's a Nicki Minaj is a better question. She's just a half-clad auto-tuned tramp spewing soft porn like videos. The record companies seem to love those types. This guy is a gifted writer, singer, player. Types like Nicki could just as easily been pole dancing in some sleazy club if they hadn't been doing the record exec. It's sad the number of mediocre to outright bad singers that have made it big.
@wocathoden10 жыл бұрын
what's popular isn't whats always right. deserve is such a loaded word. guess I'm just being platitudinous in trying to say: I agree, But it is the way it is. I do not listen to Nicki minaj, But I'm glad she found some kind of success {as a musician myself, I know how hard that can be.... if you stay true to your art... which she... that's a whole other rant}. Bernhoft touches my heart, My little baby girl loves him. She use to make me put him on when she was a new born {to daze her out, and calm her down}. Guess what I'm saying is : If beauty was everywhere no one would appreciate it. Hell, I've even had songs stolen from me by major record label signed bands... But I keep writing anyway, Because it's in me to do so.

I have heard of this Nicki Minaj thing. I still do not know who she is. I guess I gave up on pop music a long time ago.
@hughlivingstonbarclay48926 жыл бұрын
I totally agree with this. Bernhoft is a special special talent... but it’s the Nicki Minaj fans that put her where she is.. they’re not ‘real music’ lovers! Wouldn’t matter how big a platform you give the ‘real musicians’ cause they won’t sell there soul to the man for a little bit of fame! That’s what makes him super talented, he loves what he does!!

Does anyone know what he's using to get the bass sound out of the low string? The other 5 strings sound like a normal guitar. It's a very clever idea and I've never seen anyone do that. He must have pedal that's doing it. Cool
@daanvanderspek10 жыл бұрын
Actually that is a much thicker downtuned string on the guitar!
@PS3SROCK12349 жыл бұрын
looks like he put a bass string on there
@hurgendurgen30169 жыл бұрын
he uses two bass strings
@MorganWallaceMusic9 жыл бұрын
Robert Glen He uses bass strings so when he does looping, he can get the low ended desired without having to start with a bass then switch to guitar - aka ingenuity for a more seamless sound and show. (He's incredible live.)
