Since starting as high school friends in 2016, Connecticut's Anxious had quietly been building momentum until the release of their 2022 record "Little Green House." Since the release of "Little Green House," Anxious hit the road nonstop with scene staples like Drug Church, Knuckle Puck, and Militarie Gun, along with select dates supporting legendary acts like Bayside and Thrice. Comprised of members Grady Allen (vocals), Sam Allen (bass), Jonny Camner (drums), Dante Melucci (guitar, vocals), and Tommy Harte (guitar), Anxious put together a hot mix of melodic hardcore, pop punk, and emo during their Audiotree Live Session. Discovered Anxious through being a OSC fan and following Grady, Ryan and Ross. Big fan of the band , great debut album and looking forward to the next. Saw them at Pouzza fest '23 in Montreal and they were my highlight of the weekend. Quality scenes, love it!

Found Anxious because Ned Russin posted Anxious' first EP forever ago. This album is genuinely one of my favorite albums in quite a while; zero exaggeration. ALSO, the album release show was amazing as well.

I just saw Anxious on Leap Day in Hamden CT, and fuck I was blown away by the whole bill. Koyo, One Step Closer and Life's Question all put on fantastic sets, but the highlight for me was the 5 or so minutes that Dante took to chat with me from the stage after Anxious played. What an incredibly sweet kid. That's really all I can say. Kids got a fantastic head of hair on his shoulders (figuratively and literally!) and I can't tell you how much does that means to somebody who's been going to hardcore gigs for over 30 years now. Basically that's all I want to say, accept I'm in the hospital now, and once again Anxious and the power of community continues to get me through it.

Always love a band composed of a strong group of friends. Bands like that tend to know exactly what they want to sound like. Definitely love the drums, homie can keep a beat. The rhythm and bass are on point. Dante is a workhorse man. I see some comments not giving the vocals his due, but i think its more his look thats throwing yall off. Very laid back for a vocalist. So greatful for channels like this one for platforming new talent i can follow. Good look audiotree.
