Founded in 2017, Belarusian trio Molchat Doma (translated to "Houses Are Silent") stands at the intersection of post punk, new wave, and synth pop. Part of the Eastern European cold wave renaissance, Molchat Doma's music is reminiscent of old masters like Bauhaus, New Order, and The Cure while maintaining a sound that is immediately recognizable as all their own. With the grim precision of their drum machine, Molchat Doma's Audiotree Far Out performance within the historic Palmer House Hotel's Red Lacquer Ballroom, perfectly encapsulates the band's austere gothic prowess.
