There are those who like hood trucks here too, but they do not build that kind of trucks anymore, unless you special order from the Netherlands for example =).

The reason why conventional hooded trucks are soo popular here in the US is because they are more comfortable, have way more cab room in the sleeper, easier to get it and out, and it's easier to access the engine.
