Hi Ken, this unit is really about OEM integration, hence using one full range input. not really made for high end aftermarket units..

Bigger processor and more control of all sorts of parameters. The end user is thought to be very different. It is like a really good point and shoot automatic camera versus a fully adjustable DSLR

i use the bit10 in my modern car and also use it for audio competition and i am very happy with the capabilities of this little magic box of sound. i have the DRC too since it is pretty much needed to control the bass level. it is expencive but i think it is totally worth the money :) you can watch my channel to find a videos of the working system if interested

ok, so you set the de-equalization with the car's volume up 75%. For my car, and maybe for many cars, the eq curve seems to change as the volume goes up. There bass doesn't continue to go up as the rest does, obviously to protect the speakers. So, with these processors we can set the eq to flatten the curve, bring back the bass.. but then what happens when we turn the car's volume down after calibration? I assume it would be overly bassy. But then there is the master volume for the box itself, on the Cleansweep, on the PXA-800, etc. Is the car's volume always at 75, and we just adjust the external amp's volume via the master volume/sub knobs included with these processors? That would make the most sense to me as the unit will get a big signal, and then the car's eq curve changing with the car's volume won't be an issue, because we won't be touching the car volume, but using the processor's volume knob- which I'm assuming is controlling how much volume of that already calibrated 75% is then given to the external amp, to amplify to the speakers. right? Is this how these things work? And is HU > processor > amp > speakers, correct? I'm not completely clueless to audio in general, but more of a novice with car audio. Thanks.

Passive.. seems pointless with a nice DSP and Time Alignment when using passives is pointless as well.. it will never center the stage correctly it can only make it better than no TA at all. This works great as a 2-way plus sub ran active. Only 24db of slope on the crossover vs 48db of the bit one or 72db of higher end units. The Audison DSP's are far weaker in terms of tuning compared to Helix and Mosconi. Mosconi has a parametric EQ per speaker with A LOT of bands.. far more adjustment compared to a 31 band graphic. The Audison takes 10mhz jumps on the low cutoff frequency.. the Mosconi can be single digit changes. That said.. there are some who just get in trouble with to many tuning options. I think it's a great beginner DSP for someone and for those who just don't know enough or even care to learn how far tuning can be taken. I have had hte Mosconi and one IASCA comps... I moved to the Audison for the full digital setup and the fact I don't compete anymore so having everything crazy perfect isn't a must to enjoy a really nice sounding setup.

Howdy, I have an aftermarket head unit Pioneer AVIC-Z130BT with 3 RCA pre-outs 4-volts...How can I connect it to this Bit Ten input? If I were to use the high level speaker inputs on bit ten, then the subwoofer would be left out as bit ten only has speaker inputs (FL, FR, RL and RR)...wouldn't it be better to use low-level inputs for a cleaner signal? Only there is one set of low-level input on bit ten (AUX-IN)...I am confused...Please explain this if you can? Much appreciated, Ken.

Sooo nice. But extremely expensive. Retails for 480$ in usd. Rockfords own 360.3 does basically the same thing, but its also 500$

It looks nice, but in reality Audison is like a bag full of worms, expensive and insufficiently designed. As a side effect of small dimensions of D-Class products, parasite electromagnetic noise is generated which interferes with FM / DAB / DVB-T. If used for car audio, it also may have impact on existing car electrics as the noise is too strong (CANBUS error, AIRBAG system failure, etc.). Interesting part of this is that AUDISON knows about the problem, but have no solution to solve this. Final reply from AUDISON marketing director was that I can return the product if I don't like it.

Yes, freaxehhh, it might work better and a Veyron is faster than a Ferrari. you have so missed the point here, it is tragic. THIS IS A FINISHED PRODUCT, not some geek shit-o-crash NERDY SHITE.

i just had this system installed in my car. it is impossible to tune to a satisfactory level. you must alter the sound for every different song and this is just daft. Do NOT have this system installed. i wish i never bothered. the factory installed system was much better than this awful system,

The DRC would of easily fixed your problem. Just because someone doesn't know how to use it or don't like it, doesn't mean that its a bad product and advise people not to buy this. This product might be a bit too complex for a novice so they might be better off just using a passive crossover. I own the BIT ONE which is a bit better than the BIT TEN, but they are both awesome products. Anyone that knows anything about SQ knows that full digital (Active System)is the only way to go. Analog setups (Which causes Electrical Interference) just doesn't cut it anymore. In your case the Alpine PXA-H800 might be a better choice since its more user friendly.
