i think their story was so perfect. i mean their characters were both beautifully written. audrey looked for a savior, coop helped her out. their feelings were mutual but cooper knew it wasnt right and didnt want audrey to regret it later when she gets over her problematic phase and grows a little. the way cooper rejected her when she was in his bed, was so beautiful too. he didnt yell at her, didnt order her to leave, he was understanding, and so was audrey. im sad that they didnt end up together too, but maybe it was right this way and i think that if david lynch wouldve added too much romance, or too much sappy lines to the story of this two, it wouldve ruined the concept of them. its a sort of forbidden love type of relationship that they had and im so happy that they ended up being on good terms instead of coop trying to brush her off and audrey getting mad at him. they wouldve been so good together but im happy their story ended how it did…
