Yeah but when she does the knots she doesn't have the camera far away enough for us to visually see it. After she creates the not then you can see what she's doing as she's pushing it back.... Other people are probably terrible at tutorials. But yea I had to slow it all the way down on the second bracelet style to figure that out lol

I really like the way you explain things. I've seen other videos where the person overcomplicates what they're trying to do, and that really makes the whole process a lot less fun. 39yo here refreshing my memory on how to make these. I made soo many of these as a kid. I used to use a safety pin instead of tape so I could attach it to my pant leg and work on it without a table. Never knew how to do the Chevron pattern tho, that’s next level! 😆

how to tie the bracelet: just feed all of the strings through the loop and tie a knot around the loop to secure it. then cut off the excess.

Beginner tip: Whenever I make the twisty one for my bracelet shop, I tape down the middle string(s). But, if you want to have different colored sections like in the vid, you don’t have to do this.

These should be perfect for some multicolored drawstrings for fabric bags I'm making. They're Hogwarts house crest fabrics, so I figure I'll do double strands of the field color (crimson, blue, green, yellow) and singles - for thinner stripes - of the charge color (gold, silver [they used the film colors], silver, black).
