I like how the writers realized that it's kind of fucked up that Wonka went to an island and convinced the natives to work in his factory, so they adapted them into clockwork robots

i thought it was cause since the Oompa Loompas originally are really small people they dint had a way to make them like that, and sicne it included dancing too they came up with some time of either steam or clockwork like powered robots and made the Tour way more original and cooler

From what I've heard,at the end of the song the Oompa-Loompas bring a part of the chocolate pipe with Augustus covered in chocolate and frozen as a statue to the stage. After the song is over,Augustus screams for her mother's help and she goes to rescue her son. During The View From Here Mr. Wonka assures that every kid will go home with a Gobstopper,"perhaps a little changed".

Look, think positive: Augustus only got cryogenics alive, for free, and with chocolate! If everything happens like we imagine, then the global warming will be stronger a hundred years later, the chocolate will melt and Augustus will be revived with his same young age. I'd say he leaved the best.

I like this idea, but I just want to let you know, if you look closely at their feet near the ending with the long," FUUUUUDGE!!!" they do a little thing with their feet that is kind of like tap dancing but you can barely hear the taping do to the long,"FUUUUUUUDGE!!!", now you probably haven't seen the UK tour yet but wanted to give you this as a little fun fact for you.

I watched the full show on 5th of March 2023 and seeing the chocolate coated fudge version of augustus is horrific without a doubt I started crying because it was so horrifying (veruca violet and augustus die)

@@Menace_1129 I saw the show in Leeds and I didn’t see the head bopping but I wasn’t wearing my glasses so take that with a grain of salt lol, the way it happened when I saw it was a model of Augustus coated in fudge/chocolate was in a cylinder on wheels and mid song they rolled it onto the stage as everyone, Mrs Gloop in particular, looked horrified for obvious reasons, then at the end of the song it’s taken away and Mrs Gloop runs after it, hope this answers what you where wondering! 😊

@@CJ17Mag what happened to Veruca was she was thrown into the garbage chute (which was a moving box on wheels) and she climbed out covered in rubbish, then the same happened to Mr Salt then at the end of the song, they’re both put back into the chute and wheeled away, the audience see Mr Salt’s legs going down the box and the top of Veruca’s head as she’s doing down and then they leave the stage

What the hell were script and song writers smoking while doing their job? Why on earth did the kids die? I am Russian and we (me and my friends) decided to make our own C&CF musical at school (you know, music copyright doesn't work there, LOL). So, I translated all songs to Russian, made some machinations with script and... ta-daa! Russian musical without deaths.

@@themeparkplanet3210 honestly having seen bootlegs, both a bad quality version of the douglas hodge one, and the alex jennings one. as well as a couple of bootlegs of the US version. i think i prefer the UK version. that said from what ive found about this version of it, is that it seems to mishmash both versions.
