Augmented Obsession Triumph Guide [Destiny 2 Beyond Light]

These are once per week, meaning you'll have to do this for at least 8 weeks in order to get the overall triumph completed. Depending on where the Europan Eclipsed Zone is dictates what augments you're able to clear. For example, when Eventide Ruins is the Eclipsed Zone, you can complete Augment: Riis-Reborn Approach, Augment: Technocrat's Iron or Augment: Kell's Rising. When Asterion Abyss is the Eclipsed Zone, you can complete either Augment: Nexus, or Augment: Well of Infinitude. When Cadmus Ridge is the Eclipsed Zone, you can complete Augment: Bray Exoscience, Augment: Creation or Augment: Eternity. You also need to make sure you destroy the same 3 groups that are shown in the video. As there's multiple areas where the drones spawn, if you destroy the drones from another area, you won't get the triumph completed for that week. You can get the missing ones the next time around (say if you got 2 from one group, and 1 from the other). But for the sake of simplicity, just get the same 3 that I do each week to complete this and the triumphs in order. This video has compiled all of the previous 8 videos into one, so that people can come back and follow them from the one video instead. I didn't make a new separate video for each one, or do them in one big loop like I normally would - as you can only do one per week. So I kept the original format of starting from the beginning of each each one, as it didn't make much sense any other way.

@@TheOneFamine Yes you can, but you can only clear 3 scanners per week it looks like. I messed mine up this week when I shot a warmind cell and it cleared the drones on one of the scanners without doing them in order. I'm pretty sure that's what messed me up.

One week I accidentally shot a wrong set of drones and it actually used the transponder that you can only buy once weekly, so now I'm behind/late on this. A little tip for those that may be behind on a couple of this augments like myself. You can get more than one per week but it's situational. I bought the transponder last week but didn't realize that it only works on the scanner's in the current eclipsed zone areas which I had already completed. Thankfully, I had a little extra time left over on my timer after reset today so I was able to go and complete the scanners in Creation. I then checked and saw that I can still buy one for this week from Variks. So you can essentially complete two in one week. Conisdering I still have Riis-Reborn and Technocrats Iron to complete, I can get both next week using this method. Just a little tidbit if it will help anyone.

Late to the party...though this might other late arrivals: for the Asterion Abyss ones, I made the error last time in doing the first one and turning right instead of going left...consequently, I did 1x of one (Nexus) and 2x of WoI. This day, I got the scanner, and to my surprise, I was able to complete both Nexus and WoI in just 2x runs with a new scanner each run. lol Cheers, as ever, to Eso!!

I have been working away on this for a few weeks, and today in Abyss, everything was good until i went to both Nexus and/or Well of Infinite - no drones anywhere - ? Anyone know what that means? I have not completed either in my triumph, and I had the scanner buff. Went into orbit and back a few times (re-killed for the buff), still nothing..Guess I will wait for next week, but like this one isn't painful enough for 1.5 months already :( Don't understand the reason to make it spread out so much either, but oh well...

So I'm 2023 the Riis doesn't give the triumph after the first 2 sets of drones are destroyed. Edit there are 3 panels and 3 sets of drones. ( I must have done the wrong 3 I didn't get the triumph)

If you die with the buff don't worry, you should still have the "Braytech Signal" or something that shows up on your character screen, you don't have to wait a week to rebuy the transponder, just find the scanner vandal again

The braytech transponder you buy from Variks stays active on your character for 7 days (you can see it in the character screen above the Prime Attunement buff). If you die, fast travel, or leave Europa after having killed the fallen vandal for his transponder, then you have to find that vandal and re-kill him to pick it up again.
