I think Thomas of Rand McNally needs an update and a smack. lol Thomas is supposed to show both routes so you can decide, and I haven't seen that lately. He's supposed to show you the shortest route, but doesn't take into account all the traffic on those roads. ;) Google is showing both routes, but as other subs have said, Going through Fort Worth in morning traffic is almost impossible for any truck. The route you are taking is much safer, and faster. lol I'm not used to seeing traffic going 24/7 anyways. :) Night traffic around here consists of raccoons, skunks, deer, moose, and the odd car. :)
