August 13th 2020 Severe Thunderstorm in Moncks Corner SC

A line if storms developed west of I-95 and made their way to our location. Prolific lightning producers aswell as torrential rain.

I just love the sounds of all those frogs! That's the sound of life, and I'm afraid we're losing weigh, too much of that these days. My sister, Maggie, lives in Barnville, South Carolina, and she's in love with it. Have you ever thought of recording all that wildlife for ASMR videos? There's nothing like it, and it's even more amazing when you travel from place to place, and find some amazing places to pick up some of those sounds whether they're in our state forests and parks or if you stay in a small town where there's lots of farmland. It's just a suggestion, and if you know anyone who loves wildlife and its amazing sounds, I hope you can encourage them to record audio and video of as much as they can, because too many people are oblivious to our amazing wildlife here in America. I'm totally blind and don't get to travel like I want to these days, or I'd be out there recording as much as I can. I've been blind since birth, and I've always been independent. Unfortunately, I've lost some of my long-time friends, as they're no longer in this world. I'm trying to make some new ones, but transportation is so limited here in Atlanta these days, but I'd like to think it'll improve.

Nice video.Under the carport a lot of noise of animals.They don't stop making noise.What for animals are these?

Yeah being next to a creek with all the frogs and other animals its like being in the amazon rainforest lol

I really hope this season has more storms... This year has had a lot of heavy rain, but FAR less severe storms than usual. We havent had a severe thunderstorm warning since... I dont even know, June maybe?

Hurricane season is look busy already and its not even peak yet so we will see

We haven’t had one since may dude, but we just got a late season storm that was warned severe and it was impressive. I think it was the best storm of the year for us... other than that, no storms

@@wholelottaweather24 They said that was a derecho that hit Ma. The severity was not even forecasted. Looked pretty sweet from a few vids I've seen.

Matt The Storm Chaser we did have a 74 mph wind gust, not a derecho. It was some pretty interesting footage, it’s one of the best footage I’ve had all year or even ever. Do you mind watching it when i publish it on Friday?

Just 8 days after the Iowa derecho

That was something ..that derecho If that hit this location we'd have damage for years here. We still have damage from the Easter Sunday tornadoes.
