The Milani Liquifeye has been the absolute best liner for my waterline. I tried a ton, and they would all slip off in less than an hour, but this one lasts all day. I highly recommend it!

Hi, Jen! Just wanted to give you a tip on how to "refresh" the wet n wild gel liner. Fill a mug 1/3 full of very hot water. Make sure the cap of the gel liner is screwed on tightly and place the whole container into the mug of hot water for 30-45 seconds. Voila! The gel will no longer be dry. I've tried that with mine, and it worked. Hope it works for you too! BTW, you are one of my favorite gurus to watch! Thanks!

@kelsodragonlady You can always get color matched at their counter for free! I'm actually not a huge MAC obsessed person and I don't like their foundations but people just use MAC shades so others can easily reference it and know what skin color you are. Their shades are wide-ranged and logically set up. [ie. NW = pinker undertones, NC = yellower undertones, and colors go from lower numbers being lighter (15) to higher numbers being darker (45 is darker than 40)]

Bobbi Brown Gel liner FTW. I've had mine for almost two years. It's still creamy, it still lasts. Yeah, it was $24...but I bought two years ago. And I still have so much product left. Love love it.

I don't know if you know this tip or not, but to bring the WnW gel liner back to life, just put some warm water into a bowl, then put the gel liner in a ziploc bag to block the water, and soak the gel liner for about 5 min. When you open the gel liner, it will soften and you can definitely mix the gel up to get a unified texture. I do hate how it dry out so fast, but I loveee it sooo much.

@DecayChaser I honestly have to disagree! When I tried out NARS Orgasm it was definitely not as pigmented as Pearlescent Pink, plus I also feel like PP is more of a true pink tone while Orgasm is much more peachy-pink. It's much closer to NARS Deep Throat in my opinion. ;)

The only drugstore foundation I use is Bourjois 10 hours sleep effect. It's light and gives even coverage without feeling cakey on the skin. I love it.

I love the covergirl mascara! If you want length and volume, get the purple colored tube by cg lash blast. The orange is just for volume and there's a yellow one that's just for length.

Great vid! Hope u do more like this. I like my higher end makeup but have been sampling drugstore & am now obsessed w/ those L'oreal HIP shadows. I have a bunch & my fav is the 1 u r wearing, electrified I think yeah? The comfort zone palette is also surprisingly great. Enjoyed watching. : )

@piggiesmalls4 This is true to an extent. In my experience, extraneous packaging in high-end makeup usually represents the brand and quality makeup inside such as with YSL lipsticks or Rock & Republic blushes. When you use it, you appreciate the packaging even though it's bulky. With drugstore products though, it feels like they are "faking" it to seem nicer when the product should speak for itself. Plus, this is a hits & misses. It's my job to be picky!

I went to america last year in July 2010, and one of the only things I bought from a drugstore was the Wet & Wild Mega Eyes Cream Eyeliner in Black. Mine, more than a year after I got it, still hasn't dried up! I don't use it all the time, but it's still the same consistency as when I first bought it :)

jen, you can revive the cream gel liner using glycerin and sterile water. I saw it by Enkore, and tested the method out on some of my liners which dried out within a month, despite not opening them. it does work!

Love this. I use that same physician formula powder too! Works great! Butt I do agree with you now that I've seen how small the amount of product is for the price that they sell it for. Vry disappointing. But in overall yrs, works great! Btw, awesome glowing necklace!

I agree with you about the lashblast volume mascara, but cover girl has two other lashblast mascaras too. Lashblash length I totally love, it truly lengthens but doesn't provide the volume, and lashblast fusion which is supposed to be lashblast volume and length combined which still lacks the lengthening factor. I usually do one coat of lashblast fusion with two or three coats of lashblast length and it gives the false lash effect without the clumps.

I had that exact same problem with my pencil sharpeners and it's the main reason I haven't used my urban decay pencils! I thought it was just me and I was doing something wrong, but I should try out the CVS one then. :D

Haha! I also have the same problem when checking out foundation at the drugstores or Target around here... it's like 90% white here, and I'm a darker tanned Asian, so I have to hit up the Sephora or Ulta to get a little more variety in base colors.

I just bought the Milani eyeliner and I looooooooooooooove it. It's super super soft, I dunno if it lasts very long but there's no tugging when I use it. And CVS has a buy one get one half off deal atm. I dunno how I feel about the brow pencil I got but the eye pencil is love!

Wow, I can't believe you like that mascara! I've tried it before because it received great reviews but I absolutely hated it. I found that it clumped alot, and it didn't really do anything for me. It just clumped my lashes together.

if you're looking for a covergirl mascara that gives more lengthening but has the same volumizing effect of the lashblast volume, try the lashblast fusion. my friend swears by it and her lashes always look amazing :D it's supposed to give length and volume, and after my wp lashblast volume dries up i'm definitely going to be giving it a try myself.

I bought the wet & wild cream eyeliner thinking it would be HG but it didn't really work out for me. It was dry, hard to work with and it transferred all over my lid. You should try the ELF cream eyeliners. They're my favorite and they don't transfer/smudge! :)

You can try to repair the cracked shadow by dropping some rubbing alchohol or pressing medium on it and then repressing in the areas that are cracked. I've done it before with W n W singles. They are a bit soft and often crack.

I'm not sure if someone already said this but I thought I'd let you know that covergirl have another tube that is purple, that lengthens and volumizes. I really like the orange waterproof, and thought I'd give the purple a try. I have pretty long lashes to start but I think I'm liking the hybrid version. The purple only comes in water resistant, or normal varieties. I hope that helps! Let me know if you try the purple one and if you like it. I'm still undecided myself! Thanks!

I love that Maybelline Mineral Power Concealer! I went through 3 tubes of it, but for some reason recently I can never find the shade that matches my skin tone which is medium beige. Every drugstore I go to only carries the lightest shades and I feel just like you where it seems like the only color they have caters to only white people. It's so frustrating because I really loved that Concealer. Anywhoo, awesome video! You look gorge and that necklace is divine! =]

heyy! can I just recommend this mascara that I'm LOVING at the moment? It's the Etude Henna mascara. It's gorgeous! When you put it on, It gives volume and longer lashes and at times make you look like you're wearing natural looking falsies! :) p/s: Love the drawing behind you!

If you have an Ulta near you you NEED to pic up the Essence gel eyeliner in black. It's like $3.50 and it is seriously the best gel eyeliner i've tried. WAY better than the Wet'N Wild one. It is super duper creamy and glides on like butter, but after like 15 seconds once it dries it doesn't move at all. It stays on allll day. :)

I know how you feel about the Covergirl foundation. I am white and I have never found a foundation that matches me, drug store and high end. My skintone is very olive-y. I'm going on a hunt for foundation tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll find one. I have a Wet n Wild blush, too. And mine is crumbly, too...and...it broke. But the color is gorgeous, so I don't mind. I think instead of getting the MAC Prep + Prime Set Power, I'll get the Physicans Formula powder. I hear nice things about it. :)

FYI. The WnW series that the Comfort Palette is a part of is getting discontinued (SO SAD) and they are really hard to find in the 1st place! I think they are gonna officially discounted it Jan. 2012 or something, so we still have time to stock up! I remember WnW eyeshadows being really sucky way back when when I was still in Middle School, but it has gotten alot better now! Love them!
