How do you find purchase necessary comps? I think these are best for me as find social media ones so time consuming and I'm staring at my phone all the time

Definitely agree with you there - I have too much other stuff going on to spend all day on social media comping - I am part of Di Coke's Legends group which is a monthly or annual subscription - it is an AMAZING resource and worth every penny (currently £5 a month or £50 a year). I also subscribe to Compers News and access the Chatterbox Forum plus enjoy the monthly magazine to my door. (£5 a month) - both these are absolute musts for me and I wouldn't be without either.

Gosh I have absolutely no idea how all these bucket hats keep arriving with me ... but so much fun ... there are sooooooooo many. I am a believer in the Universe gives you what you need and the universe must think I need lots of bucket hats (and Christmas jumpers as that is another thing I seem to have a collection of).. I will go through my prize boxes and see if I have a spare to start you off on your collection 🙂

Thank you so much ... I did a test month last October and it worked out about 30-50 a day so I suppose about 900-1500 a month ish ... I don't track the number now but I know other 'compers' who do and enter over 100 a day ... because I am not big on social media comping mine is a lot less ... I think the key is to enter for what you would like to win and keep a slot for coming activity so that it doesn't take over your life. I am a member of DI Coke's Legend Group and also subscribe to Compers News - these two and the most vital comping resource especially for a mostly purchase necessary comper like me :-)

OOOOH nice question - you probably realise I am rather travel obsessed - so my top prizes would be a Scandinavia trip, cash and a new kitchen (that current Tesco one is my big hope) ... its all a lovely dream isn't it ... and then one day it isn't and is reality ... stay lucky

Awww thank you so much for watching. Now radio comps I am a proper novice at. I have only ever won four - one was a text in and won £1K cash, one was an online web entry story about how I met Lee (won an ultimate date night which was Cinema, Karaoke Booth, £150 dinner tab, £100 cocktails and an overnight stay), one was a story about my wedding where I was shortlisted and then picked to go on air, and the other was a text in and a call back where I won tickets to Bestival. So all very different types of entries. I belong to a fabulous radio Whatsapp group with some experienced radio compers who are helping me learn and sharing their knowledge with me. However, apart from joining forces with some comping friends who enjoy entering radio comps then I think my best tip would be to always have a good and unusual story for radio and to be very excited and enthusiastic if you get a call. I lost signal three times on my last win but they called me back each time because I "sounded like the kinda person they like on the radio" (meaning I was rather over-excited and a bit squealy ha)

Ah no it is a closed WhatsApp group set up by a small group of people who want to enter radio comps. Legends group also posts radio comps though. I am not sure if Lucky Learners still do. But if you have some comping friends who also want to do radio comps it is a good way of doing things x

Awww thank you for watching and for the congratulations. I hope you had a lucky August too. Great question. My first year I was crazy crazy crazy so excited and entering everything but gradually since I have become a bit more experienced I am much more selective. I never enter Scan to Win or the needle in the haystack Golden Ticket things (unless I am buying the product anyway) and try to focus on holidays, cash, vouchers experiences, and things on my wishlist or things I know one of my (adult) kids needs. It helps to have quality rather than quantity. How do you like to enter? Oh and good luck for September

How do you organise purchase necessary trips, do you go on your own with a list , and how do you remember to always get a receipt when the assistants are always hurrying you ? I love your enthusiasm, having comped too many years I can count ( Im 71 and my mum said I did things as a child , though I can only remember my first prize in my early twenties .

WOW - five decades of comping that is AMAZING - I bet you have some fabulous tales to tell. Soooooooo as I come across PN comps I save them into an app on my iphone called Workflowy which the lovely Di Coke recommended and then taught me to use properly on the plane. I have colour coded it all into stores and if there are only certain qualifiers I save a photo into the list too - it is properly organised (and very pretty ha). I used to go Quallie shopping on my own but now go once a week or so with a lovely LL friend who moved into my teeny village a few months ago. We love spotting new comps too and two pairs of eyes are definitely sharper than one! On one trip recently we did Spar, Morrisons Daily, Tesco, Asda and Coop all on one trip :-) The local shops know me now and usually just handover the receipt as they know if I forget it (or more likely Lee forgets it) then I will be a pain in their backside and just go back to the store for a reprint ha ha :-)

Awww thank you - its a real milestone. I need another milestone now and I was thinking that to have won TEN holidays overseas would be a good one for my next milestone goal. After Mallorca and then Lisbon next February I will have visited ten countries but two of those were as a "plus one" of generous comping friends so not my own win. Have you won holidays?

I think for me it is always staying positive, looking on the bright side and not feeling like I have ever lost. As I mostly enter PN comps then the entry is just a bonus to me as I always have the product to enjoy. If the entry then produces a prize then it is a double bonus. Ahhh thank you and this is a great question which I am not wholly certain of the answer to. I won a big prize with Nandos the first year I comped - it was Nandos ultimate football party where myself and my five guests were chaufered (from three different areas of Wales) to this amazingly grand house owned by artists where a big screen, seating and fire pit was set up in the beautiful gardens. We had our own Nandos food truck complete with two chefs, our own photographer, and two gorgeous Nandos PR girls looking after us. Our rooms were so beautiful and we each had personalised goodie bags stuffed with merch and were also given a HUGE bag of Nandos sauces and mixes each to take home. When I asked how much the prize was worth I was told 30K. It was a brilliant prize but whilst that may have been what Nandos paid the PR company for it I am sure it was way less in actual value terms so I dont really count it as a 30K win, although it would have cost a pretty penny. In actual value to me I think the Corona Island trip was probably the highest value as it was a week all-inclusive on a private island with all activities included and beautiful bungalows. There were 43 staff looking after 15 guests. You cant buy a holiday there as it is invite only (usually Corona competition winners or journalists) but its gotta have been worth about 10k for us both I reckon. That week was INCREDIBLE - I posted a video of each day on the island on my Tik Tok if you wanna see what I mean (@kazzymints) - utterly INCREDIBLE

What a great win CONGRATULATIONS!! How exciting to be off to Paris ... have the most amazing time! I had to Google Brocante - but wow that is right up my street. I love vintage clothes and there were plenty of vintage clothes shops to browse and pretty reasonable too. My tip for Paris is embrace the Metro system - it is an absolutely brilliant way to get around the city and although it looks a bit complicated at first it really is very simple and we even used it to get to the airport when the trip ended. Have the best fun ever!!!

Oh no chase it up. Although as I said chasing up my tshirts from last year didnt bring me my prize. I enter about 30-50 a day - so reckon 200-350 a week. I always enter more at the end of the month and on the day my Compers News arrives in the post :-)

Ahhhh thank you ... ahhhh the Beavertown cap winner ... can you drop me a PM with your details on any of my social media channels and I will get that posted out to you at once. Thanks for joining in :-) I keep track of my wins on an excel spread sheet - I start a new one every year and track prizes, types of win, types of prize, value and date it arrives. It is a good for motivation and also chasing those late prizes after the obligatory 28 days. I know other lovely compers track in a notebook. The main thing is you can look back and remember lovely prizes and lots of lucky times if you are going through a dry spell :-)

OOOH yes I asked them. They told me an illegal entry was where someone had entered more than once (the comp was 1pp), used different email addresses to enter, had uploaded fake receipts, or uploaded photos of their cat instead of a receipt :-)

Awww thank you for a great question which has a very easy answer DI COKE - my god that gal exudes energy, positivity, fun and happiness. I loved our Euros trip and it was a whirl of activity and she planned and organised it all perfectly. I am also lucky to have a fabulous little tribe of gorgeous, caring, sharing, comping friends whose care, support and generosity is also pretty inspirational. One lovely friend even took me as her plus one on a brilliant all inclusive trip to Crete ;-)

Ahhh thank you Lee will be very happy you noticed that as of course he is my tattoo artist and I am his canvas :-) They are very unusual as there is no black outline. Lee wanted it to look as if the flowers had just been placed on my arm. The inspiration is my two daughters - Daffodils for my little girl Abby that I lost to cancer in 1996 (daffodils were the only flower she knew the name of and the only flower we had at her funeral and of course the national flower of Wales) and Poppies for my daughter Poppy (who is 27 today). I love my gorgeous ink so much

I always do my instant and daily/weekly entries between 6am and 8am but I do think more people are entering early doors now as I used to be luckier with the instants at that time. I won the Ribena £650 voucher at 7:30am. Find a routine that fits with your life is the best advice I think.

Awww thank you and thank you for watching too. I am not really that big on social media comping unless it is creative or photos or videos. However, when I set up my holiday account on Insta (instagram.com/themeanderingmintons/) this kept happening to me all the time. So I took it very slowly and just tried to follow a few accounts a day and only enter a few travel comps a day. I only ever usually put one emoji (its usually a heart) and keep my comments general rather than talk about PRIZE or GIVEAWAY or COMPETITION in my comment - I know others have said not to use the word SHARE or too many emojis too. Just build it up slowly - have a second account you can switch over to if you have a ban or block on the main account is a good way forward to. Good luck with it as I know this is so frustrating 😞

Hello ... I only try clothes on for my unboxings that I have won really and don't really buy a lot of clothes online anyway as I mostly shop charity shops. I should probably film a few clothing try ons of my charity shop outfits though as I am a very canny shopper and also can alter, sew, repair any of my finds too :-) Thanks for the question :-)
