I have Mania from the Lucy Show, released in '86. I think the Canadian connection made them popular, in certain circles, in Canada.

Just the other day I found a copy of Mania! I haven't spun it yet, but am looking forward to it. They're definitely not my favorite band, by any means, but I tend to get over-excited when I find a new-to-me band that doesn't suck haha.

Mark at Mad4Vinyl brought me here. I'm glad he mentioned you. I like Greg Kihn, although I've never seen 'Glass House Rock'. You have a great relaxed and informative presentation style. I'll be back for more videos! I'm aware of the Lucy Show, but I've not heard anything from them. Glass Moon sounds interesting too. I probably would have picked it up as a blind buy if I saw it simply because of the photo on the back sleeve.

Thanks for stopping by! Yeah, Mark is great. I really enjoy his videos. Thank you also for the kind words. I wouldn't say that I am at all relaxed haha. I don't know why, but speaking to a camera seems more stressful than speaking to a room full of people! Anyway, I do have a habit of picking up albums based only on the band name or the cover rt or, as you mentioned, the photo of the band. I think I have been extremely lucky with that approach, as only a few of those pick ups have turned out to be real stinkers. I appreciate you watching!

I need to start coming over to your channel.. I am a Greg Kihn fan, and I didn't know he was from Maryland originally. Katvondi.. How do you spell ? I will listen..

Hey JT! Yeah, I think Greg is a bit underrated. He churned out, what, something like 15 studio albums? Sure, quantity isn't a great measuring stick for quality, but off the top of my head I can't think of one of his albums that I don't enjoy. Although, to be fair, I still have one more to pick up haha. So Kat von D, not a bad album if you're into that retro-wave sound (and I am). Thanks for watching and subscribing!!!!

🤣 Golly Dave, it's obvious what grabbed you about that album cover: the random lines on the front of the cover match the paint on your wall! The Lucy Show doesn't ring a bell - I'll look them up. Had no idea Kat Von D was a musician. Nice grabs! Cheers, Tom

You nailed it! I figured it would be pretty obvious 😂 I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that Kat was making music. If it weren't for a random stroll through the vinyl section of the Flint Barnes & Noble, I still wouldn't know! Thanks for watching!

So many records and not ONE band or artist known by Morten. Well done sir 😊

Hello Morten! I do tend to pick up obscure titles and I guess they bunched up a bit in August 😄 Thanks for watching!

What an interesting batch of records Dave. I can’t say I knew of most of these bands. Enjoy your vacation. That would make 4 r3cord stores in GR. There is a smaller one I went to in an old building that he lovenly restored, it was wonderful. The owner was great. I did a tour of it last year but can’t remember the name

Thanks Steve! Are you referring to Vinyl Alchemy? I've seen pictures of it but have never visited - I tend to make a beeline for Corner Record Shop. I'll search through your videos to see if I can find your visit. Have a great week ahead!

Hi Dave, I didn't know much about the other artists besides the Greg Kihn Band. I’m going to check out Glass Moon.

Hi Mark! Yeah, I was dipping into the Pool of Obscurity this time around. I'm curious to know what you think of Glass Moon. Sorta proggy AOR to my ears. Thanks for watching!
