🇭🇲🦘 Sounds like The Siege of Haddington became a nightmare for the English troops. Not just the battles, but also the dreadful conditions and ill health .... of the soldiers. A most informative and interesting view into life on the battlefield during Tudor times. Again, a great video. "Thank you" Claire 💓👑👍

Three videos in one day!! You’ve made my week!! Congratulations for 50,000 subscribers.🎉🎉🎉 I can only imagine the horrible conditions experienced during the siege and the huge losses not only from fighting but from illnesses such as the plague. It would be a nightmare. Thank you for all of your hard work bringing us daily Tudor Titbits! I hope you all stay safe and cool.

Another great video full of all kinds of interesting facts about a time in history. I'm betting that Francis Talbot, his officers, and the army never wanted to see Haddington ever again.

Yeah! Only had commercials before the video. You have such good content that I hate to see it interrupted.

The rough wooing love that. They had a rough time of it with the all the losses of men and food and awful conditions they had to endure. Thank you Claire for another great video. 👍👍

An English victory but there was a high price what with wounded, plague, and the bankruptcy of their commander.

Hello, Claire! I don't know where you ask questions, but I was wondering if Mary I went on the Progress of 1541 with Katheryn Howard and Kinh Henry VIII?

I am interested to note that James Hamilton, Earl of Arran was Regent. Where was Mary of Guise in this arrangement? Did she have any political power or was she just the mother of the baby Queen?
