I love the country out there! You can see sooo far. Which is handy when a storm is approaching!

That storm got bigger as it headed east. It was dropping hailstones that were the size of grapefruit on one town and in Vivian it dropped a hailstone that was 11 1/2 inches across. That big one punched through a guy's house roof and living room ceiling and land on the couch. (He put the big hailstone in his freezer.)

We were nearling Deadwood when this happened. Looked up north and saw those clouds and decided to wait it out. Got to Sturgis 35 minutes after the hail. Hope everyone was ok.

What a beautiful storm. I hope they get another one this year. It's the only way I know of to stop that Harley rider parading and showing off!
