August Alsina stepped up to Ebro in the Morning fresh from Los Angeles where he debuted a brand new video at the BET Awards.
His video for his latest single, "Hip Hop" was one that was inspiring in nature, and he spoke on it.
"Just trying to uplift our people," he said. "Black people."
As for people clowning his outfit at the BET Awards, it's not phasing him at all, although they were wondering about the "abnormally" high heels.

He has so much wisdom it's mind blowing that he's only 22 he's a year younger than me but he seems so much older, but experience will mature you especially when you've had to live the life he has had to live, it grows you up real quick I know I'm a living witnesses. He's a mind over matter type of person, seriously the young lady that ends up with him should treasure him because there aren't many guys left like him.
