Good to see you back Frank. You inspired me to start sea kayaking with your video Portreath to Godrevy Island. And get Matt back if you can. Big respect!

Matt is in the next few videos, but he is currently boatless. This is the campaign to get arse back in the seat of a new boat, to show him what he's missing.

Good to see you back! If you can't inspire Matt then no-one can. You've certainly inspired me to start kayaking (and others too judging by the comments! 😁)

He's into cars at the moment, but I know from personal experience that the Sea gets into one's blood, and will always call one back, it is inevitable, and unavoidable.

Nice one Frank, Great to see you back mate! Nobody does it better in a kayak!! (Filming from a kayak on youtube that is by the way) If you're looking for a new portage trolley have a look at KCS, you probably heard of them before. Just thought id mention because I'm gonna probably get one in the new year. Thanks again frank, well back to sifting through all the other kayak channels looking for some decent footage!!!
@GBPaddling7 жыл бұрын
Nice one Mark, I have made a new trolley, had it all welded up properly, this one won't fail, the KCS one does look good though. I got a Chariot X cart............it just gave up the ghost after approx 100yds of Poppit sands, avoid that one.

I live just round the corner from there... I've lost a couple of wellies in that mud lol 👍
@GBPaddling7 жыл бұрын
As far as this type of mud goes, it's by far not the worst, but nonetheless it's evil and smells of bowels, ha ha. Avoid at all costs. The daft thing was though, once the trolley had collapsed, the boat just skimmed over the mud like shit off a shovel, not before I'd given meself a hernia though.

GBPaddling mate... I was pissing myself listening to that temper, I'm exactly the same when I loose a line when I've got fish on 👍

Happy Days! Frank! You're back! After the last two posts the missus and I were worried you'd been pinned down under a boulder on a remote beach somewhere and that you'd had to resort to splitting it in two with your tin opener... Matt must be truly mad, that is to say unless TJoK has finally learnt to walk on water.
@GBPaddling7 жыл бұрын
Or chewing my arm off to escape the clutches of a mad, possessed woman who just wants me for my body? Ha ha, no it's just been a terrible year for weather, and I've had a couple of injuries that haven't helped.
@tomwilson69157 жыл бұрын
Serves you right for letting her use the handcuffs!!! Can relate to the frustration of injuries, I wound up on't surgeons slab for some minor butchery four weeks prior to what was supposed to be a fortnight of yak fun in June. Had a week of glorious sunshine and paddling followed by several days of force 5 to 8, rain and poor visibility. Thar can still plan for next year though, think its going to be cracking weather wise.

Glad to see you back! I missed your adventures. Hope you can pursuade Matt to get another boat...
@GBPaddling7 жыл бұрын
Only done 3 trips this year, it's been a tragedy really, but got some to catch up on, and who knows, maybe it's not too late? It can be really awesome even in mid-winter, all we need is for the wind to die off.
@michaeldeane66007 жыл бұрын
GBPaddling Good luck with that! It can be hard to motivate yourself when the weather is cold but as you say it can be worth it on a nice calm clear day - if we get any! Really enjoy your videos and hope 2018 is fruitful for kayaking. All the best...

GBPaddling Lol. Wrong again, not heard of it. I did the Conwy estuary last week that was cool, but want to get to the seals, will launch from Penmonn point , don't fancy the mud.

You're Back !! Great !! Once again your Video gets my 'SEAL OF APPROVAL' . Truly amazing to hear them breathing out then in again before slipping back under the water with so little effort. Thanks for Sharing. Pete Maher / Penysarn - Anglesey

Peet, this is probably the best place in the UK for a close up with the seals, I have been among commons and greys in numerous places, but Puffin Island is deffo the bestist I've experienced.

Interesting that refraction subtracts out some of the visual curvature of the Earth. You can actually see a bit over the horizon.
@GBPaddling7 жыл бұрын
I have seen a lot of the Flat Earth videos, and flying back from Kefalonia in September I was studying it all, and have to say, that it was not possible for me to see the curvature of the Earth from the plane!!! Also, as we passed over Folkestone I could EASILY make out the outline of the Isle of Wight and Portland Bill in the background. A total of 160 miles.......

Matt is an enigma that is ruled by the moon, I thought the female brain was the most complex thing in the Universe, but Matt's is one step further on, ha ha.

if possible you could upgrade your camera for better colour and stufs, the visual quality needs to catch up with your already awesome footage. Either way thees videos are just great and i want to go kayak exploring sooooooooo much!
