I've never had luck growing tomatillos. They flower out. Get the pod but the fruit doesn't grow. Thanks for the garden update. Have a wonderful day.

Tomatillos are like tomatoes, but they’re green and they have like a little soft shell on them. Mostly you make them in like Mexican dishes like green salsa Verde.
