We are going to go over some mindset tricks you can use to start getting more questions right and minimize the number of questions you miss
These things are not complicated, technical skills, which mean they can be easily applied as soon as you finish watching the video. So make sure you stick till the end and get all of them under your belt to start raising your SAT score.
Hack #1: Use answer choices as hints
Read the question and don’t know what to do? No idea where to start? Look at the answer choices and it might lead you somewhere. Triangle example we go over pops up often enough that you want to memorize this trick
Hack #2: Underline what you have to find
As silly as it sounds, you are going to get a ton of benefit out of it. Might seem silly at first, but start applying it and you will be glad that you did. Reading it once, and underlining it to process one more time, you will decrease the chance of making a silly mistake
Hack #3: DO NOT PICK THE CLOSEST ANSWER
Unless the question specifically tells you to round your answer, DO NOT ROUND IT. If you don’t get the exact value in one of the choices, your answer is wrong. Picking it hoping that it’s correct is the guaranteed way to get it wrong.
Hope you found this video helpful. Thumbs if you liked it, subs if you loved it. See you on the next one!

Good deal - make sure you have MASTERED the concepts before jumping into practice exams - otherwise you will be wasting a lot of time.

John Jung - The Admission Hackers I have a question, I use khan academy and a Sat text book to study, when I use khan academy on the computer, I don’t do as well as in the textbook (in the textbook I usually get 100) do u think the text book is easier, or that I’m not doing ass well on khan academy because it is online and not right Infront of me?

It wasn't D - Think about 30-60-90 triangles and how you can connect it to the hexagon's angle. (hint: make triangles)
@kypreadsprice
@kypreadsprice 4 жыл бұрын
The answer is A, you simply just calculate the area of each triangle which would be 1/2(2)(2root3) = 2root3. Add 4 of those together and your answer should be 8root3 or answer choice A.
