You are right Joe Pool has been rough all summer, good to see you fish at the lake I do

It’s been an off year for me there too! I fish all over the place at some time or another. I enjoy hopping around

Joe pool isn't really an easy lake to just go out and learn. It was hard all year but the last 3 weeks I have limited out every time. The slabs are on the cedar hill/midlothian side of the lake. You can also find them deep in the creek on the main lake. I'm not sure why but the smaller fish tend to me more on the grand prarie side.

Hats off to you! That’s the side I was on and did not see enough for me to run trips on but did catch fish

Probably not a great lake to guide on this year for sure. This has been a tough year. That hard freeze screwed things up.

Appreciate the truth , sometimes it is a struggle and everyone don’t get to see those days. Keep on pushing brother. Great video

Thanks for watching! I always tell myself it’s called fishing and not catching lol

Yeah okay kid , Grapevine it is.. When I first moved here I fished the marina and caught some decent white crappie.. Well maybe next time.. There will definitely be another trip.. See you soon!!!
@KidKrappie3 жыл бұрын
I actually learned to crappie fish at that marina before they moved it. It used to be an ok bite. I will keep checking on it and see if they turn on once it cools off too. Looking forward to the trip!!

Congrats on the boat! Went out to Joe Pool today only had a few hrs to fish. Started off only fishing with jigs 👎 and nothing. Then stopped by the marina to get a couple dozen minnows & that made the day a little better. Got most of them in 20-30’ of water & had to move around a lot(mostly on the GP side) Ended up with 19 keepers in about 2 hrs.

Good to see a pro struggle every once in a while! Cause I struggled my last trip with just 3 bigguns!
@KidKrappie3 жыл бұрын
I struggle way more than these video portray. Lots of mediocre days mixed in with the really good days.

@@KidKrappie Yessir and anyone that fish regularly and say they don't struggle at times is a liar! 🤣😂 glad to see you getting those sponsors also!

Hey Kid, I'm looking for Camo Joe's website and can't find it. I want to buy some of his hand ties. Can you post a link to his website please, thanks.
@KidKrappie3 жыл бұрын
Look up Camos custom hand ties on Facebook 👍🏼 I would post a link but I can’t seem to pull it up from my phone. Also, some of my previous videos have it linked in the description. He makes some really nice jigs!!

Good Video and you don’t have to respond to this comment but if I may make a suggestion to you? Stop by Walmart and get the ONN screen cleaning kit for your Livescope and I have it and it works great and won’t scratch the screen and it works for your sunglasses too!! Have a great God blessed day!!
@KidKrappie3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for that! I have seen some of that and I plan on getting some. My screen was a mess lol
