Yes you are right, Vadims. Foreigners need to be fully vaxxed to enter the Philippines. Cebu however may accept unvax foreigner BUT they need to find an airline that flies direct to Cebu & accepts unvax. Its a hit or miss.

For how long Philippines will be under Covid 19 Protocols... for another six (6) years under new administration. Philippines are moving backward. With all those restriction investors will not waste their time to go to the Phils. Hope Philippine government will read all people's comment. Expensive to go to Philippines. Almost every country still has Covid 19 protocol. The protocol is not restricting investors going in Philippines. Even Japan is still implementing lockdowns if cases of Covid are high, same in Australia. Canada requires fully vaccinated to enter.

If tourists are planning to reservation in any resorts ask first if Covid test requirement. We went o boracay, Bataan, batangas, tagaytay and metro Manila resorts NO test requirements. But the Farm at lipa does required to have test w/ in 72hrs. Doesn’t matter if you have all shots or papers. ( go figure) We suppose to just visit our sick relatives. Ended up doing all this, oh well.

It's not too much to ask vaccine certification, so much easier compared to last summer. What they need to drop is the mask requirement in stores, on the street and so on. 36 days until we leave to Ph. I can't wait to do our one health passes!

I arrived in Cebu city today Aug 6th but I want to talk about the Taipei transfer experience. The airport staff at Taipei treat transfer passengers like the all are infected with a contiguous disease. They met us in Hazmat suits and the divided us according to what airline connection we have and the place different color stickers on us. The escorted us through transfer security and to our HOLDING area. They held us there til 30 mins before our flight then marched us to our gate to see us off and out of their country. Ridiculous is a good word for it!!

When I took my friend to the airport to see her off and help check in, I almost got quarantined leaving the airport. Had to get interrogated by immigration. They didn't believe I was just dropping off a passenger. Then I could not get any taxi out of the airport. Only 1 exit, to a MRT. Had to take the MRT to Taoyuan, then catch a taxi to the HSR. Total madness.

Please check IATF resolution 168 on facility quarantine you can enter but have to undergo quarantine for 5 days and if negative continue the remainder of 14 days at home. Even PAL has updated their website on July 13th

I was in Philippines on July 30- August 11 and mask enforcement is not enforced. I was i Manila and at mall there and mask not enforced or check for vaccines at all. I flew down to Mindanao also and not enforced there or checking of vaccines not checked. Only people checking vaccines are at airport entry only. Nobody else is checking at all. The people there are really tired of the mandates and the masking. Because when I was in mall of Asia there I Manila very few people wore mask inside mall.

The issue some may have is trying to find a hotel that still offers quarantine stays. When I was there last November that was not an issue, now a lot of the hotels are longer offering quarantine stays so you may want to plan ahead and start contacting hotels if you are going to be quarantined. Thank you for the update, I will arriving next week I have my booster trying to avoid having to pay for a covid test.

Ur right! It was mixed-up up or conflicting... I'll be traveling to the Philippines today and from the airlines link a guidelines says: Negative RT-PCR test taken within 48H prior to departure from the country of origin will be required, the following shall be exempted from this departure testing requirement: Filipinos aged 18 and above who have received primary series COVID-19 vaccine, and at least one (1) COVID-19 booster shot.

According to PAl website, S-pass is no longer needed when traveling to Iloilo. Just present your vax proof. Unvax, need to show negative test result. Hi Jennifer, I'm a Filipino who travelled last July from Phils.to Malaysia and Singapore with my friend. At the Phil immigration, we were asked to present a travel insurance to which we replied, we don't need it anymore as Singapore and Malaysia no longer requires it. The lady who is in the immigration insisted despite me telling the latest requirements of Singapore and Malaysia.This happened last Aug.1,2022. We did not have any choice but to book an insurance online. She said, Phil.govt.did not yet remove that insurance.Can you please look into this matter. Thanks a lot.
