Great to hear that you are recovered, Leo. Sorry to hear that the promise of achieving a first rate program in PNG was not to be. You are quite right - no individual effort on your part was going to overcome the prevailing attitudes. Good observation about the level of corruption in PNG. The gap between the developing and developed countries is closing - the developed is descending to the level of the developing. You only have to look across the pond to see the kleptocratic/kratocratic/kakistocratic hydra that has emerged. Best that you will find some time to de-stress and regroup. Be well - peace

well shit thats un unfortunate series of events though it is good to see you are alive and getting well, back in ol Blighty or otherwise. i know from books and talking with expats living in various developing countries that corruption is right in your face at times rather than the degree of separation we have here in the western world. too bad it worked out that way for ya. id like to hear the whole story sometime. i was offline for several months myself. it was a nice return to the real world. im starting to watch a few videos a week. glad this was one. take care
