Awesome! Wondering if you would like “ The Lost Bookshop” got it on skip the line. Two timelines, a bit of mystery, women supporting women to offset certain injustices. I agree with you about the violence with guns in a school setting in Off the Deep End. Things like that are a sensitive topic to me, too... my younger sisters were in a school shooting years ago so this topic is not one I like to visit in books - ESPECIALLY when I feel it is handled poorly imo. I got that book for Christmas last year not knowing that gun violence within a school would be brought up even, and it was unfortunately just handled in a way that made me feel uncomfortable.

I’m honestly glad you didn’t like “Off the Deep End.” It was the first (and only) Lucinda Berry book I’ve read, and I was worried all of her other books would be similar to this one. I trust your opinions even more now!
