1980 में भी ऐसे ही बैग बनाते थे लेकिन Macron thread से बनाते थे वो crochet से नही बना कर केवल उँगली से और मोती पिरो कर बनाते थे

In the sewing of the sides she did not sew all the way to the beginning of the single crochet. She made a point of starting 4 crochet motifs down Could this be your problem? If not maybe larger handles with more space for the single crochet? I hope it works out for you.
