The problem with Physical DPS is most of them are melee units, and some of the hardest enemies have insane damage that it's better stay out of range most of the time. Not to mention, maps with narrow passages punish melee more than ranged.

I’m on the fence because I definitely want Homa and already have a 5 star Rawiyyah, but Auguste combos way too well with Simona and Gloria, whom I use constantly. I guess I’ll wait to see who’s after him.

It all depends on how you play and what you play. Auguste is a must for me because I need a strong DPS. My main team is Simona (High Magic DPS), Inanna, Gloria, Cocoa, and Ballista. This team has carried me through everything expect tower and lvl 70 weapon trial. Even though I have Safiyah, Dantalion, and Edda, I just dont like Irian colors. Many people will chase after Tristan and Homa because they dont know any better. Yes, they are good units but very situational. I love teams that can just brute force everything, screw the tactics.

The more I've been using Auguste the less I actually like him. Its not like when I was able to try Homa. I really enjoy her skills and how well she can fit into just about any team.

Yoo howky I had a question : I have 6 summons left for the final pity for saffiyyah I got rllyy unlucky and I’m F2P. Also im the biggest fan of Auguste haha so should I summon for safiyah as she’s one of the best even in tower of adversity or should I summon auguste. Ig safiyyah brings more to the account bas auguste has always been my fav character. So should I summon safiyyah and then summon what i can collect for auguste? I think that’s the way to do it what do u think?

I mean at the end of the day the game is to have fun. Are u ok with having fun and not having the best team? Saf mechanics makes her really useful in alot of content she is the jack of all trades while auguste is the biggest dps stick.

From a pure meta perspective Saffiyah is the more long lasting meta. Auguste is still a crazy dps...but if you have to choose, Saffi is more futureproof. But it also depends on your roster. Sometimes your roster might be more in need of a strong meele dps breaker. I mainly will pull for 2 reasons, I want a strong meele dps and I want a strong breaker, as my only choice rn is Rawijah. So he will help my account a lot. If he won't do the same for you, then Saffi might be the better choice.

The more important question here is if you have space in your shard mines, a lot of people who are skipping Auguste are doing so less because he's bad and more because he needs 4-stars for his maximum potential and Tristan beats him in enough scenarios that he ends up getting overlooked.

Not really, Taair is the bigger priority and he's expected to be right after Homa based on the roadmap leak.

Homa the only one have P. Def Down 3 so far in TW and she currently best Support Synergy with best 2 physical dps which Auguste and Tristan She's kinds core unit for Physical dps team and can't be missed tbh if Event require DPS check on Physical dmg Taair also top priority due to his NRG restore and Speed Buff which make him best support that can't be replaced for long time like Innana and Cocoa Both Homa and Taair is top priority to pull for now, Auguste can be replaced with Tristan if u can wait

i highly recommend casual players to not wait for future proof characters. Why not? bc 99% of casual player base will quit before Tristan comes in 4 months. Don’t lie to yourself.
