+TheWonderfulKushites Auma says that she met Obama late in life so I don't think she has anything to do with him being well grounded. Obama's half-brother Mark (by the third wife of Obama Sr.) calls Barack a "lousy" brother, which seems to be because they have no contact.

Not quite true.. It depends on circumstance and how well the "siblings" get along. If it's as a result of an extra marital relationship they tend to use the term half-brother/sister. If it's a remarriage and the siblings are growing up together, then it's more than likely they will ignore it.

We saw the pictures and heard all about the family, his mother, his father living in the States and marrying his mother, his maternal grand parents, his school pictures in Hawaii. Yet ignorent, unintelligent people made such a fool of themselves re his birth in a country where people are supposed to be educated. Hats off to both his sisters. Mayo and Auma. President Obama's father might have been a dirtbag, but what is amazing is that the children he has had, or at least the ones I've learned about, have done very well in life. And, this is even though they seem to on many levels not have associated with each other on any substantial level. So for this particular man who seems to have not been the greatest father, to have all of these children who exceled, to me at least, is extraordinary and puzzling at the same time.

In Africa there's no half siblings of same FATHER because polygamy is a norm. Children are identified by their fathers and belong to their tribes. That's why BO Jr is a Luo by tribe. If siblings are of same mother but different fathers then they become just relatives each identified by their own father and tribe. Neither of them can claim the identity of the other.

mrsnet Obama actually inherited his skills from the teleprompter. If you watch clips of Obama in unscripted activity where he speaks for more than 30 seconds, Obama exposes a total lack of personality. His act works in a vacuum, where ppl like you drink it in.

44 was never related to Obama from Kenya. He is related to Frank Marshall Davis. Frank Marshall Davis was from Chicago who was a card carrying communist, who was married and had 5 kids at the time he met Ann Dunham in Hawaii. Franks role was to draw African Americans into the communist party. Obama’s grandfather Stanley was a CIA agent who’s role was to get insight into what communists such as Frank Marshall Davis was doing so he was also stationed in Hawaii and wanted his daughter to stay with him in Hawaii. Being a furniture store owner was his undercover job. While Ann was attending college in Hawaii she eventually became interested in Frank and eventually they had a kid. Stanley did not want his boss to know who his new son in law is otherwise he could lose security clearance. Frank did not want his wife and kids in Chicago know what happened. So Frank and Stanley agreed to create a birth certificate that would show a different father. Barack Obama from Kenya was in training in Hawaii at the time eventually agreed to be the name on the birth certificate. He needed the money and visa to be able to study at Harvard. He went on his merry way until Obama 44 was trying to get into a school at the age of 10 that required the father on the birth certificate to be interviewed. So Stanley has to call Obama from Kenya back for a “vacation” to get to know Barack and be at the interview. This is why there is the picture of Ann and Barack from Kenya when Obama 44 was 10. Obama 44 at this time thought Obama from Kenya at this time was his real biological Dad and Frank David was his uncle. Eventually a couple of years later, Obama came across a birth certificate of his that stated “father unknown”. This was how he found out from his grandfather the real story. Frank Marshall Davis is not his uncle, but his biological Dad. From that point on Obama 44 learned to look at the world through his dads eyes. Obama 44 learned he could not get far in politics if the public knew who his real biological father was. Which is why he used the false narrative of Obama from Kenya and it worked. This also explains why when 44 was president, there were 2 fake birth certificates made which hinted they were slightly fake under close examination. This was used to distract from the real issue, who was Obama’s real mentor/father? Obama 44 has a total of 4 birth certificates. Two are real and two are clearly fake. Three have “Barack Hussein Obama” as the father and one has “father unknown”. The reason why the false fabricated story of Obama from Kenya still being pushed as his father is so Obama 44 can still push his work behind the scenes of fundamentally transforming the United States of America. Remember what Obama said in October 30, 2008? “In five days we are going to fundamentally transform the United States of America.”. Through deception by the media, schools, Hollywood and social media, his plan is working.
