Hey Mona B have you ever use LIV cream for a twist out? If not will you. I have tried it but I am not a blogger and I love it, my hair was very moist when I did it adding a little soufflé from the shea moisture collection. I think you might like it.

I love this stuff. I used it for a wash and go and got super good results :) i also use a dab of one of my cheap edge controls along with it in my hair for less shrinkage and heavier curls

Thanks for this tutorial. I used that flaxseed and twisted my hair. When I opened it the next day. My hair turned out super harder and I noticed some whitish things on my hair before even spraying anything on it. Is there anything that you can advice me on? Thanks

janellew09 No problem!! I most likely wont be using it again. I don't want to mess up my hair dealing with all that protein. I didn't like the way my hair felt! I'm going to make my own and see if it makes a difference.

Your hair looks exactly like mine! Do you have 4C hair? I also have low porosity hair. I wanted to try this product since my hair shrinks to about 1/2 inches lol. Do you normally use Shea Moistures Raw Shea Butter Restorative Conditioner as a leave in and coconut to seal? I'm trying to find products that help me to reach hydration faster. (I loved your hair after you did your braid out).

Are you going to make your own flaxseed gel next? I made some before, it didn't go to well but that's because I still had relaxer on my ends so EVERYTHING I did to my hair turned out a bushy mess. Now I know better.

You may have to use a oil...like coconut oil, castor oil or olive oil after you shampoo it. Then use a good leave in conditioner. Then use Aunt Jackie's elongated gel or whatever you got thats good on hand and start the coils in your hair. Be sure to spray the oils on your hair everyday with a good oil leave in moisturizer with a little bit of water added to it. Let your hair air dry naturally at night. Tye it up. Then spray a few wisps in the morning after lifting up and separating some of your curls to freshen it up. Shake your head and bounce those curls up and down ladies. Now your ready to go. Continue to spray your hair everyday...get in the roots with a good oil. Spray plenty until your hair is saturated. Let your hair dry. And shampoo your hair weekly.
